I want to feel the pain
that apparently washed away
tear streaks still paint your face
your beautiful smile is now a waste
guilt comes upon me like some kind of plague
finally realizing what I truly made
a once innocent girl, so cute full of smiles
is now a single mother alone with her only child
I hope, in time, she will forgive me
because I can never be the man she needs desperately
I turn and look at my reflection in the water
but the only thing I see is my lonely daughter
I close my eyes, forgetting that sight
I wish i can take back what i said that night
I hope one day her scars will heal
from the cuts I made that seemed too real
I have to stop this she doesn't deserve this agony
I know what i must do to bring back both our sanity's
I'll go back, i dont know what she'll say
All i know is I'm going to make everything okay
