No Lies, Just Love [Under Construction]

I laid on my bed sighing, "I miss you."

I heard him chuckle on the other line of the phone, the sound of his laugh put my heart on rapid mode. I'm stupid to like my best friend but I couldn't help it. Blake is just perfect for me, but I wasn't willing to ruins years of a friendship for some stupid little crush.

"I'm serious Blake. I miss my best friend. You need to hurry home!" I screamed into the phone, I was so anxious to see him, even though I know he didn't miss me as much as I missed him.

"I know, I know. I knew you would miss me Lee Lee." Blake said laughing.

I rolled my eyes at the stupid nickname Blake has called me since we were kids.

"Whatever I know you miss me too." I flirted back.

"Yeah," Blake said, "I do miss you." He said with a sigh.

I rolled onto my stomach, accidently kicking my pillow of my huge queen size bed.

"Shit," I mumbled.

I reached to pick it up and ended up falling of my bed. My phone slid under my bed.

"Ainslee! Hello? Ainslee!" I heard Blake screaming into the phone.

"Hold on!" I yelled back. I reached under my bed, grabbing my phone. I put it up back up to my ear.

"Okay, sorry I uh dropped my phone..." I said embarassed.

Blake started cracking up, I jumped back on my bed when I heard someone knocking on my door.

"Come in," I said, "Blake what are you laughing about?"

My best girlfriend Elizabeth walked in, and raised her eyebrows as I said Blake. She knew that I liked Blake, she was the only one who knew. 

"Because you fell off the bed didn't you?" He asked.

"Um no. Why would you think I fell of the umm bed." I stuttered, that’s so embarrassing.

I said as Liz came and jumped on the bed. Grabbing my phone.

"Liz, give it back!" I reached for it but she sat on me laughing. I was going to kill her! She was interrupting my talk time with Blake.

"NOPE! Ha-ha you can not talk to lover boy for one sec hon." Liz said, I rolled my eyes at her.

"Okay well at least let me say bye."

I reached for my phone but she raised her arm so I couldn't reach it. I rolled so she fell off of on top of me.

"Ha," I said as I grabbed my cell phone.

"Blake I got to go, Liz is here. And you know she wants all of my attention," I said shaking my head.

"Okay babe, my plane should land around 9 tomorrow..." Blake said.

I hated when he called me babe, especially in that raspy voice of his.

"And what’s your point? I have a date," I lied.

"What! With who? Do I know him? Since when do you go on dates?!" Blake yelled.

"Chill out, I was just kidding. Haha I'll be there around 9. Make sure to text me where to pick you up. I hate airport traffic."

He could get so over protective! He always had something to say about me interacting with boys, it was starting to get annoying. If he could do whatever he wanted I should be able to too.

There was a silence.

"Um yeah sorry about that. Okay I guess I’ll see you tomorrow Lee Bye." He said then hung up.

"Stupid nickname." I muttered. I looked up to find Liz giving me a weird look.

"What?" I asked curiously. She had a huge grin on her face.

"You need to tell Blake that you like him! What you’re doing right now is torturing yourself." Liz said.

"Yeah I know this! But I can't risk it." I said.

"How do you know he doesn't like you back?" I gave her a stale face.

"Because, he is always hooking up with a bunch of girls. Look I don't want to talk about this anymore." I said trying to change the topic.

"I can't wait for Blake to come back home." I said, he was on vacation for spring break.

"So where did he even go?" Liz asked.

"They went on this cruise to the Bahamas, stopping at different countries along the way. Blake said it’s really great." I said with a smile.
