The pain in your eyes

Though you ain’t blind

Whats in mine

I can feel

The anguish of your soul

Where you’re struggling

To take control

It isn’t easy

To tame oneself

What is a man?

Other than an animal?

Yet, when a sage is in front of you

You see

It isn’t the soul that is to be tamed

It’s the animal

Its not easy to overlook

Your failures

But if you keep gazing

You cannot see what ahead

If your eyes remain in the dark

Though you are not blind

You just won’t be able

To see the light

If you choose to

Stay in the dark.
