Chapter Five - The Best Date Ever

All air leaves my lungs. I can't believe he's brought me here! Disneyland! Freaking Walt Disney World!

"Oh my god Jack! This is amazing! But you didn't have to do this."

"Yes I did, I want this to be a date you'll remember and I know how much you love Disney from the multiple Disney covers you've done and from the fact that you phone case has Mickey Mouse on it." I giggle; it's true I'm a massive Disney geek.

"Thank you for this Jack; you don't know how much it means to me." I wrap my arms around his waist and pull him close to me; Jack pulls me even closer and kisses my forehead.

"It's no bother at all. Now let's go and have the best first date in the world!" Jack yells grabbing my hand and running with me to the gates. They let us straight through when they see Jack; we don't have to queue or anything!

"Where first ma cherie?" I laugh at his attempt to use French.

"Eh bien, mon manège préféré est le Splash Mountain donc ce serait bien. Mais il serait tout mouillé après qu'il sorte..." I trail off laughing at Jack's expression.

"I don't have a clue what you just said but I know it was attractive as hell." He grabs me by the hand pulling me close and giving me a peck on the lips. "I'll ask again, where first my lady?"

"I said; Well my favourite ride is Splash Mountain so that would be nice. But we would be all wet after it so..."

"So we'll go on a really fast ride afterwards and dry off!"

"Okay!" Like excited little kids we run hand in hand to Adventure Land.

~oOo~

This night has been incredible! I don't know how Jack pulled it off but we got to skip every queue for every ride all night, even the people with fast passes! We took so many pictures and we've done every single ride in every single part of the park except Fantasy Land.

When we get there we start with the Mad hatter’s Tea Cups, upon which ride we told each other at the same time 'No smiling on teacups!’ People gave us strange looks... Then we went on Small World (Jack somewhat reluctantly, he says the robot children freak him out.) and finally we decide to go for dinner at 'Be Our Guest' which is a French restaurant that Jack insisted on.

We're sitting in the West Wing dining hall and I've got to say I'm in awe, everything in Disneyland is magical but this is like an exact replica of the Beast's castle in the cartoon. There’s even the enchanted rose in its case, Jack took a picture of me with it.

I order the ratatouille and Jack orders some form of steak. We fall into easy conversation while we wait on our food.

"So tell me your story." I look at Jack like he has two heads, he laughs and explains. "Tell me stories about you, love, heartbreak, depression, happiness, embarrassing high school and baby stories come on I want to know more about the prettiest girl in the world."

I sigh dramatically and tell him all my brain can conjure. He sits and listens intently the entire time, not once interrupting or making remarks but laughing where needed or aww-ing when the story called for it. Though he asked for basically anything and everything I avoided my biggest tail of heartache and depression like the plague, it's a heavy sad story full of tears and loneliness that I'll tell him some other time.

"So when are we going to tell people?" I ask nervously when dinner and story swapping is over and we're walking hand in hand towards the castle.

"Oh so are we a thing now?"
