Chapter 4: "The nurse stopped talking, probably day dreaming about the sight of Logan's arms"

3 days have passed...

And I'm currently running down the hall way late for class, my mum had decided to stay a little later that morning to cook me breakfast, so you can imagine my surprise when I actually saw my mother in the kitchen cooking bacon, I was so surprised that I actually fainted right on the spot. I came to, dripping wet from my mother’s attempts of waking me up, yep she poured water on me. I didn't even have time to eat a home cooked breakfast because by the time I woke up and got changed again, first class was nearly over. So here I am running down the hallways not even stopping at my locker and heading straight for Maths class, I was running at the speed of light! Trying to make it to class before it finished, I took a sharp turn and ran straight into something hard, or should I say someone. I bounced off their hard chest and came crushing onto the ground with a loud "thud". I was still lying on the ground when I started giving this guy a piece of my mind "Great just what I need! Thanks a lot dickhead!" I saw a hand come into view and I grabbed it and he pulled me up onto my feet "Maybe next time you should look wher-" I froze once I seen who it was "Aw shit" I cursed, there standing right in front of was the one the only Jake Blake, ladies and gentleman I just crapped my pants. "Did you just call me a dickhead?" He asked with an eye brow raised,

Oh crap! Think Alec! Think! Don't just stand there! Say something! And whatever you do don't look into his eyes!

"Ahh hahaha no" I said not daring to look at his face "Well I'm-" I cut him off with my rambling "I'm sorry! I didn't see we're I was going! I didn't mean to run into you! Please don't hit me! Ugh! Please don't kill me! Or worse don't eat me alive!" Oh shit, I looked into his eyes,

Wow there a nice light green colour, and there staring at me, what's that? Is that amusement I see? Is he laughing at me?

"Haha I mean....I know you wouldn't eat anyone, you’re not a cannibal right?! Haha I mean if you are, I didn't mean to offend you! Cannibals can be nice....I guess" so much for making it better! I clear my throat and take the daring move to look him in the eyes, bad move "Well I'm sorry nerd" he said taking a step towards me, I immediately take a step back, he smirked at me and took another step forward, I went to take a step back but I was backed up against the wall! Great! I'm trapped with a cannibal! Jake smirked again and took a step forward he lent his head downwards so his mouth was just centimetres from my ear, he put his other arm on the other side of my head, so I couldn’t make a run for it, his hot breath tickled my neck and I shivered from fear "I have no choice but to eat you now, you know too much" he whispered and pulled his head back, I looked into his green eyes and then I made the rumour come true. I fainted.

I woke up in the nurse’s office, I looked at the clock on the wall and saw that school had just finished, my eyes scanned the room and I saw the nurse sitting at her desk sorting through some files, I cleared my throat and she looked up, "Oh, your awake dear?" Her voice was soft and comforting she looked to be in her mid-twenties and had long blonde hair that was tied up in a bun hidden under her nurse’s hat, she was small, and had light blue eyes, her name bag read 'Ellen'. She stood up and walked over to me with a glass of water "What happened?" I asked her my voice croaky, she handed me the glass and I drunk it happily "You fainted dear, Logan Ryder came in through the door with you in his arms" I thought about what she said for a couple of minutes, huh? I'm so confused I was talking to Jake, not Logan, I didn't even see Logan "Jake Blake was behind him, said you fainted from fright" she paused and thought for a moment "Said you saw a spider" a spider? What is going on? I'm not even scared of spiders- ohh now I remember,

Oh god! I called Jake a cannibal!

I let out a groan as I remember how I embarrassed myself, I slumped back onto the bed "Jake had a black eye and looked very pissed, but Logan just looked concerned for you when he barged through the door his muscles flexing, quit a sight" the nurse stopped talking probably day dreaming about the sight of Logan's arms, I cleared my throat "Can I leave?" I asked hopeful "Oh yes, school ended a couple of minutes ago dear" I nodded and stood up "The school will be locking up soon dear" she called over her shoulder. I walked to my locker. I took some time because my legs were a little shaky.

I’m such an idiot! I thought of course Jakes not a cannibal! He was just messing with you! Where did all that rambling come from anyway! You never ramble!

 Well I guess the rumours are true, one look at him and all logical thoughts disappear, man he is scary! I was so lost in thought that I didn't notice the school was getting darker and darker until it was pitch black "Great! Just when life couldn't get any better!" I called out loud sarcastically "I'm still in here you idiots!" I went to the nearest door and tried pulling it, and sure enough it didn't open. I Alec Robinson was locked in the school.
