Alright - Part two

1

Kate
"So Kate, have you always lived round here?" He asked me, his eyes looked into mine, and seemed incredibly curious, like I was the most interesting person he'd ever met. I took a breath.
"Well yea, I used to live in the country, me my Dad and Mum. Then Mum and Dad got divorced, thank god, and me and Mum moved here to the city. My Mums an artist, Her names Teresa, but only grandmother and grandfather call her that, you know, her mum and dad, they really don't approve of her lifestyle, the whole quitting school, becoming an artist, getting pregnant with me, getting married young, then getting divorced, was a complete no go. So what was I even getting at...? Oh yea, so everyone calls her Resa. So anyway... yea we moved here umm when I was nine so about 8 years ago. And it is so much better; don't get me wrong, I love my dad. But he and mum were terrible together, always fighting, not like actual violence or even mean fighting, more like little tantrums over small stuff. Where's the milk? Did you buy cheese? Come to think of it, most of their fights were over dairy... So I used to visit my Dad about four times a year, you know, holidays and so on. And my mum and dad are all good now; I suppose it was just the whole living together thing that they really failed at. Wait what was the question..? " Oh shit, I'd done my whole not shutting up thing. Damn it, why did I have no control over my mouth once I opened it. "Whoops sorry, I must be boring you to death with my life story, well it's not even my life story it's my Mum's life story... I'll just shut up now." He was silently laughing at me again, showing his dimples, god he really is the hottest guy. Okay I really have to make sure I don't accidently say THAT out loud.
"Nah its fine, you're not boring me at all."
"Well here we are here's my home. Now I'm warning you, it's incredibly messy, old and kind of falling downy all at the same time."
Chester
It had taken us about five minutes to get here, and she had talked the whole time. As she talked, it was almost like she got carried away, she started saying all her thoughts out loud, and explaining things that I didn't really need to know. Her face had so many different expressions all at the same time as her memories flashed through her mind, her face showed everything. Like a book with its pages wide open, easy to read.
We reached her house; it was a small place, tucked in between two taller, bigger and more modern buildings. There was a garden leading up to her house, it was overgrown, and messy. I followed Kate up the small path leading to the front door. She stopped suddenly in front of me, and I nearly bumped into her. I moved to her side and waited for us to go in. She stood there chewing on her lip, her brow furrowed; she was trying to remember something. I unsuccessfully tried to hide my smile.
"Let me guess, you don't know where your key is?" She glared at me and retorted quickly
"Of course I know where it is," then looking away she suddenly dropped down, chucking her backpack in front of her and began furiously looking through it, chucking out the things that were inside. A couple more books, a sketchpad, a drink bottle, a beanie, wallet, iPod. She then actually tipped her bag upside down, and shook it. Nothing fell out. She groaned and started putting everything back inside. Kate then looked at me, as if sizing me up and muttered to herself, "He'll fit."
"Follow me," she walked off around the side of the house, what else could I do? I followed. We walked around until we came to a low window. She opened it up chucked her bag inside, then climbed through it. It seemed that she must lose her keys often.
"Come in." She said it like it was completely normal to get inside through windows. I handed her the papers and notebook, and climbed in after her. We were in her bedroom. It was small and kind of cramped, and very messy. Every surface was covered in papers, and lots of books and notebooks. On the walls and leaning against the bed and desk were canvases, with amazing paintings on them. In the corner was an acoustic guitar. Kate had put the papers and notebook on the already overcrowded desk and thrown her bag on the floor. She was standing by the open door, waiting for me to move through. I looked down and her knees were still bleeding.
"Okay, now, go through straight across into the hall, and then keep going straight into the kitchen. I'll be there in a sec." She walked off to the left into another room. I followed her directions first into a small mishapen room, with about five doors on all the walls, i walked into the door directly opposite and found myself in a light yellow room there was a small pantry a bench that went around one corner with an oven and a fridge, on top of the fridge among other things was a box of band aids. I went over and grabbed a couple, Kate walked in.
