Alright - Part one

Kate

"Ouch!" I fell down, scraping my knees on the pavement, damn it! I think the last time I grazed my knees was in primary school, this is embarrassing. I looked up around me, hoping that nobody had noticed, of course I caught about five people staring at me from a nearby cafe. Standing up, I looked around me, trying to figure out why I had fallen in the first place, bloody shoe lace. I was in the middle of tying up my shoes when I was interrupted by a voice.
"Um, hey there, you dropped this." I looked up and was completely stunned; I stayed there, frozen in my kneeling position, taking in the appearance of the guy trying to hand me my notebook. I've got one word for you, perfect. This guy was absolutely perfect. His brown hair was messy, but it looked like that was exactly how it was supposed to be. His face was the perfect mix of being all hard lines, but with the right amount of softness, that made you want to get to know him better. His mouth was creased with a hint of a frown, and I looked into brown, concerned eyes. That was when I realised that I had been kneeling here staring at him for the past couple of minutes; I prayed to god that my mouth wasn't open. Oh great, it was. I quickly shut it, stood up and took my notebook.
"Thank-you," I garbled.
"No problem, are you alright?"
"Oh yea I'll be fine, just fine," Heaping my backpack onto my back, and shifting the papers more securely in my other hand, I went to keep on walking, but he grabbed my shoulder, indicating to my knees
"Erm, you're bleeding."
"Oh, yea, I forgot about that." Wow he really was gorgeous. "Anyway," with a shake of my head, "um, I'm Kate," I stuck my arm out awkwardly. He shook it.
"Chester, my names Chester, are you okay there, you look a little over loaded."
"Nah, I'm fine," I blew my hair out of my eyes; "I'm just round the corner, so I should be right." I went to leave again, this time, though, I took a step, and immediately went flying, damn it didn't finish tying up my shoelace, Chester had distracted me, but instead of hitting the ground, Chester caught me. Oh god, this is so typical of me to be so... scattered.
"Whoa, you right there," this time when he looked at me, his mouth was smiling, showing cute dimples, and his eyes did not look particularly worried, it appeared that he was holding in laughter. I eyed him suspiciously, and said,
"Are you laughing at me?" He immediately put on a straight face, but his eyes continued to laugh.
"No, of course not." His eyes flickered up at a table in the cafe, where a group of people where having a meal, I stuck my tongue out at the back of his head.
"Here let me help," he had turned back quickly, I quickly pulled a straight, not tongue poking, face, but before I could refuse his help and move on, he was bent down doing up my shoe for me.
"Oh, uh, tha.." I didn't have time to finish my thankyou when he had taken back my notebook, and also taken all my papers from my arms.
"Lead the way Kate," he smiled at me, showing his dimples again, without even thinking I started walking off towards home.

Chester

I was bored, sitting at a cafe with my family. We had just moved to this city. And I was sick of it already.
She was interesting, walking along, in her own little world. Her arms full of papers and a notebook. She had long blonde hair, tied up but falling out, it was across her face and messy, everything about her was messy, busy. She must have been about the same age as me, but she seemed so much younger, it was probably her clothing. Pink converses, one with the lace untied, she'd trip if she wasn't careful. And blue shorts, but not short shorts, they came down to just above her knees. And she had a big baggy green jumper, her backpack was grey and old looking, it dangled low off her shoulders, she appeared to be struggling with all her stuff, her notebook was slipping down her arm, about to fall out. The next second she had tripped over her own untied shoelace and fallen, somehow managing to save all her papers, but her notebook tumbled away from her. I immediately got up; my Mum and Dad looked at me, followed my line of sight, and then went back to their conversation. I walked over picked up the notebook, then went over to the girl, she was kneeling down, doing up her shoe.
"Um, hey there, you dropped this." She looked up, she seemed to vague out for a bit, maybe she hit her head. Then she suddenly snapped out of it.
"Thank-you,"
"No problem, are you alright?" I asked. She answered quickly
