"Okay now 1..2..3..5...6...7...8.." I said dancing along to the music playing.

Once I was finished I clapped my hands together and smiled.

"Now that's some of the stuff I'm gonna teach you guys for this year's dance recital." I told my students as they all sat down quietly.

After Chris landed me that job with August I've been working my butt off to get this studio and I finally have it. I'm glad to say that I worked for this studio instead of having Chris pay for it like he wanted to. I did this all on my own and I'm proud. I'm here to teach children of all ages how to dance and at the end of year around Christmas we're gonna have a recital to show all of the parents how much they have progressed.

"I can't wait to show my mama!" A little lady by the name of Angela shouted with a huge smile on her face.

My smile got even bigger.

"Good. Okay guys today we aren't really doing much since it's the first day so I'm gonna show you guys a little move and I want you guys to try to copy it. I know yours may not be perfect but I'll teach you guys how to perfect it so don't try so hard." I told them doing a hand signal telling them to stand up.

I put on some music and then I started to do the quick and easy dance.

After I did the dance I told the girls to copy what I did and most of them did great for their first time.

"Straighten your arm out some Tanya." I told her while moving her arm to the right position.

"Thank you Miss. Natalie." She said calling me by my first name.

"You can just call me Natalie boo." I told her before walking off to help a few other dancers.

I don't expect the girls to be really good so I'm glad to be able to help them improve.

"Miss. Natalie , who's that?" Raven asked pointing towards the doorway.

I looked up to see Chris staring at me intensely.

"That's nobody baby just keep working on the dance ladies!" I told them trying to keep them out of my business.

As they continued to dance I walked over to Chris and he pulled me into a hug.

"Hey baby." He said pulling me in for a kiss.

I quickly pecked his lips.

"Hey! Don't be kissing me in front of the girls." I scolded him while holding his hand.

He shrugged his shoulders. "I'm pretty sure they saw their mama's gettin it in before." He said making me roll my eyes.

"Whatever boy." I replied back.

"I came by to take you to lunch after your dance class is over." He mentioned making me smile.

"Aww that's sweet. Of course I'll go to lunch with you." I told him making sure to keep my eyes on the girls.

Don't want them slacking off now.

"Well I'm ready to leave whenever you are." Chris said sitting on the couch that's along the wall.

I nodded my head. "I'll be finished in a few minutes." I answered back walking over to my girls.

"Okay ladies! You have all done a good job. Tomorrow will be a even better day because I'm going to teach you different techniques to dancing. Today's session is over and I'll see you all tomorrow! Your parents should all be waiting for you outside of that door. Goodbye and be safe." I said to the girls as they gathered all of their things.

"Bye Miss. Natalie!" All twenty of my students called back.

I smiled and nodded in appreciation.

I'm so happy with the way that my life has turned out but I didn't know that in a matter of time it would all soon change...
