Chapter 1

Aggy's alarm buzzed, the pulsing sound of a series of loud beeps. He eyes fluttered open. "Uhh." The sun was shining through her window, letting the light seep in. She turned to her clock, which said 7 o'clock in hideous bright red letters. Aggy groaned again. She hesitantly pulled herself out of bed and down the stairs. She pulled her doona cover down with her. As she went she knocked against the walls drowsily. She knocked off a photo and it fell to the ground. She smiled as she saw what picture it was. It was Halloween, 12 years ago, the date they met Rob. It was so long ago. She picked it up and put it back on the wall. She dragged herself downstairs to the kitchen. Rob and Chace were eating breakfast. She stared at Rob confused. "It's only 7 o'clock. What time did you wake up?"
She questioned him as she noticed he was wearing the same clothes as yesterday. But before she could say she understood, "I crashed here. That party was really tiring." He looked down at his cereal. "So much dancing." Chace and him laughed. Aggy rolled her eyes and grabbed the box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and poured it into a bowl she had reached for that was lying against the sink. She grabbed the milk off Rob and poured it in. She shoved spoonfuls down her throat. "Where's Mom?" She said through a full mouth.
"Work." Chace responded.
Aggy frowned, "Already! She's never home!" She sighed, "What time did she leave?"
"Yeah well, she's on call." Chace looked at her angrily, "She left at 5." Chace's and Aggy's Mother, Judy was a surgeon and a good one at that. She was highly demanded around town and she was constantly being paged. Since there was no one to father Chace and Aggy, They were left alone. Constantly. Aggy sighed, "Well... Guess What?!" She scowled at both the boys, "You have to take me in your car."
"I don't care." Snapped Chace as he set off angrily towards the door that lead to the garage. Aggy rolled her eyes and followed him. Rob followed her.

Rob tried to be chatty in the car while Chace and Aggy sulked. He knew they just missed their Mom. At least they had a Mom, though. Rob didn't have a mom at all. He had a lousy dad who didn't care what he did so he spent most of his time at Chace and Aggy's house. Rob decided the tension wasn't needed. "Hey, Can you guys please make up." He laughed half-heartedly. "I mean it wasn't even over something big. Your Mom is always never home. Why so tense now?" Chace spoke up, his voice dominating the car before Aggy could say anything, "Yeah, What's up Aggy?" Aggy shook her head not wanting to tell them. "No reason. I just want my Mom." She sighed, how am I supposed to tell them I think her Mom is seeing someone. Even though Dad had only died 2 years ago. She wasn't meant to ever get with someone. "Is that so wrong?"
"Ok." Chace and Rob said in unison. Everyone had forgotten the conversation before they even got to school. They chatted about random things that came to mind. Chace drove them into the school parking lot. "Ok Aggy." Chace said.
"Yeah."
"Rob is taking you home." He turned to Aggy. She was in the backseat.
"Ok." She nodded.
Rob smiled to himself. He always got the feeling that Aggy didn't like him as much as he liked her because he abandoned her on the first day they met for Chace. Aggy wasn't the sort to get over things easily. "Why?" She questioned Chace.
"Hot date." Chace laughed.
"Who?" Rob piped up laughing with him.
"Oh... Let me guess it's the tramp, Mandy!" Aggy murmured. Mandy was a girl who flirted with every boy she saw. She had fake blonde hair and a plastic smile, as well as having a plastic nose as well. At the start of winter she would come to school looking like a carrot because she didn't want to be pale during the winter months. Chace shook his head, "Not Mandy! Susannah!" Susannah was a popular girl with black hair and a heart to match it. She was evil and wicked.
"Why?" Aggy and Rob yelled in unison.
"Because she's hot!" Aggy and Rob both rolled their eyes and smiled at each other as Chace got out of the car and threw his keys to Rob.
Rob turned to Aggy; "You're in all of my classes today. Right?" Aggy nodded and hopped out of the car. She ran towards school as she heard the warning bell. "See you in Math!" She ran towards the school and didn't look back. Rob tried to ignore the tingling in his heart. I have to get over her. I should have forgotten about my little crush on her 12 years ago, when I first met her. But time has only made me crush on her more. He sighed again. "I guess I have to go now." He got out of the car and locked it, running towards school.
