I stay next to Clint the whole flight back. I feel responsible for his injury. I should've seen it coming.

He seems to see my expression and asks: "Hey, what's wrong?"

"It's just that... I should've been there sooner. I could've saved you. Maybe if I had control over my powers I could've..."

"Little one, listen to yourself. What are you talking about? You did absolutely nothing wrong. In fact, you did an amazing job. You were an amazing help, right Tony?"

"I could've done it on my own!"

"Of course" Clint rolls his eyes and I chuckle.

I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up. Nat gives me a tired smile.

"How are you feeling? Any injuries?"

"Nothing serious."

I look to the side and see Thor standing right in front of the scepter.

I can't tear my eyes away from the scepter, its presence looming large in the cramped confines of the Quinjet. It feels as though it's watching me, a silent observer of our every move, its power palpable even from a distance.

As Thor's gaze lingers on the scepter, I can't help but feel a sense of foreboding settle over me. It's a reminder of the dangers that lurk in the shadows, of the ancient forces that seek to manipulate and control me.

There it is again. The feeling in my fingers. The immense power that lies within me. I seriously need to start working on it.

Nat leaves my side to go talk to Banner. I can see the look in his eyes. The silent admiration he holds for my sister. I'm not sure she knows how she's got his head twisted. It's funny, adorable actually but I can't seem to see those two together. It feels forced. But maybe I am judging too soon.

I don't know what they are talking about until Nat asks Thor about the myth about the Hulk.

"The gates of Hell are filled with the screams of his victims," he says proudly before seeing Banner's tortured expression.

I guess that's not what he wanted to hear. Thor realizes too and tries to backpedal.

"But not the screams of the dead, of course. No, no, wounded screams."

I look at Clint and we both break into laughter.

"What's so funny Lady Anastasia?" he asks.

"Nothing, really it's just... nevermind."

The rest of the flight goes on rather boring. Stark informs us that Dr Cho from Seoul will be joining us in New York for a couple of weeks and help Clint with his wound.

I see Thor, Tony, and Steve standing next to the scepter and decide to join them. Whatever they're talking about is 100% more interesting than listening to Banner and my sister.

"Since when is Strucker capable of human enhancement?" Steve asks when I join.

"Longer than he should have." I say.

All three look up at me.

"Let's be for real. Without me, this would still be in his hands. And I am the perfect example of how much destruction it can cause."

I hold eye contact with Steve. He doesn't say a word. I don't really know what I expected, an apology maybe?

"I suppose so," Stark says before leaving the three of us to get ready for landing. Steve follows up and I am left alone with Thor.

"Tell me about Asgard." I say to break the silence.
