Don’t ask me to explain the pain
You know that its all lies
The smile that’s hiding deep beneath
The window through the eyes
The creature portrayed through life unsettling
The poison that breaths the air
The only vermin on the move
Are the rats with their prying glare
The flowers that hide their real intention
They hear every secret concealed
The living shadow never moving
The existing cannot shield
The sun that sees the forbidden outcasts
The neglect that comes their way
The house abandoned from midnight lock
Dusk one hour away
The breathing becomes stagnant
As one dies without a care
The life demolished becomes unknown
Tortured souls freed from pains snare
It comes and goes in the blink of an eye
Born from dust to dust
A life worth living can never amount
When this world is full of lust
Inanimate objects alive with souls
Privacy that’s not a selection
Next time you feel you’re truly alone
You’re left without protection
Evil hides behind every corner
With no escape in sight
The wall hits your back one day
You are absent of strength to fight
Your insides are torn out unwilling
Your shame is laid bare
I am not my own now
Left deserted to my prayer
He took my innocence without a thought
I didn’t have a chance
The strong will over power the weak
What’s your role in life’s stance?
