Hey (:

This story is written by 2 awesome people, Jolene & Fiona! And yeah, it's Jolene here. I will be writing odd chapters, and Fiona the even ones. It is not my first time writing stories online (I have another account on wattpad, juhlyn), but it sure is for Fiona- publishing it online, anyways.

Thanks for your support, & we hope that you can VOTE & COMMENT! (: Constructive criticism is also welcomed, as we need to improve (most definitely)!

-----------------------------story start----------------------------

Chapter 1 :I caught a glimpse of an angel with fangs.

Hi. My name is Kayle Middleton, but I like the name kay kay... It kind of reminds me of my mother. Well the thing is, my mother is a busy woman and she runs this really huge company that has lots of branches all around the world, and I am supposed to take over them. She loves calling me 'baby' (gross, I know that's what you are thinking), and eventually it changed into 'kaykay'. In order to keep close with her, I chose the nickname. It may sound disgusting to you as I am a boy, but I love it. It make me think that I'm original.

I was going to New York, where I was to take business course in order to run the company. But the thing about me is that I am a geek. Short bob hair, thick-framed glasses, and ultra (disgusting)nerdy clothes. Not to forget my huge black sandals. People like me are scarce these days, guys like to spike their hair and dye it with crazy colours, but me? Au Natural.

I was a loner at school. No one wanted to talk to me just because I was well, a unique weirdo. If any of the socials were caught talking to me, their ranks drop... drastically. What about the 'normal, average people'? Worse. They will get thrashed by the socials, and they will become labelled as an 'outcast' like me. What is going on with the world? Why can't people accept others for who they really are?

Even though my mother was a multi-billionaire, and I lived in a penthouse all alone, people still shunned away from me. Just because of yea, obvious. LOOKS MATTERS.

I shrugged, and pushed these thoughts away. I was about to go to a new city, go to a school, and hopefully lead a new life. I don't know much about New York, what more about the students? Let's just cross our fingers and pray that I wouldn't meet people like the socials of my highschool.

Grabbing my luggage with one hand, I opened the closet with the other and dumped my clothes and any other necessary items in. I then flipped the luggage's cover over and worked on the lock. My flight was scheduled at 10.00 am. It was 7.23 am then; I had to hurry. Before leaving, I took one last look at my gorgeous penthouse. I inhaled deeply, and locked the door. This was going to be a long journey.

"Passengers boarding flight 2957, please proceed to gate 2A immediately," It repeated for about the third time before I moved away from my seat. I can't believe that I was going to leave my dear city, the city that I have been living in my whole life.

Just as I was about to go towards the gate, the sound of a soothing voice stopped me in my tracks. It was the most enchanting voice that I've ever heard! It sounded like windchimes tinkling in the wind, and the sound of the waves rushing onto the shore. I have never heard such melodious voice in my life! My head spun around, desperate to fnd the girl. My eyes landed onto a sweet girl holding a little boy's hand. She had a tiny frame of about 5'2 feet. That girl was holding the boy's hand comfortingly, and he smiled back.

Even I can't resist a smile. She practically looked like an angel! And sounded like one too...

"Passengers boarding flight 2957, please proceed to gate 2A immediately," it announced. Groaning, I took a last glimpse of her... Only to find her missing. Did I just saw a ghost? She couldn't possibly move that fast, right? Ok I am weirded out. Maybe it's just because of my bad sleep last night, I tried calming myself down, then walking to gate 2A.

I handed the officer my boarding pass, and he gave me this disapproving look that I can never forget. His eyebrows were furrowed, and his lips were squeezed together such that he looked like a goldfish. It made me feel so uneasy that I had to look away, and then I saw her. The girl that looked like an angel. She was drifting past another officer, giving him a brilliant smile, dazzling him. It dazzled me too.
