A/N: Yes, yes, yes.... I start a lot of stories. But, I keep writing until I find a story everybody will love. I will still continue to update The Professional Boyfriend, continuously, but as for the others they are either on permanent Hiatus or at least until July 2011 (until my school is out for the summer!).

Chapter One: Did you bang her that hard, she passed out?
“Heather Hastings… Mr. Messer would like to see you in his office. Immediately,” Ilene, the receptionist announced throughout the entire building on her intercom.

I sighed, dropping my hands from my keyboard. “What now?” I mumbled. Maci laughed from her desk beside mine. “What?” I barked.

This only made her giggle more, “Nothing, Heather… how come you always seem to get to spend quality time with Mr. Hottie? Huh? None of the other women in this office get to. Use it to your advantage, seduce him, rape him… come on…something Heath.”

I scoffed at her, “Trust me, he’s not so awesome once you get to know him… he’s an arrogant bastard.”

“A hot, arrogant bastard, though!”

“Whatever,” I said with a sigh and tucked a loose strand of waving black hair behind my ear, my hand gently passing my upper-ear earring. The earring my father was the least bit pleased about.

Standing up, I straightened out my grey, high-waisted pencil skirt and proceeded to the elevator. With a ding, my heels began clinking against the cream, tiled floor coming to a quick halt when I reached a sigh saying,
‘ETHAN MESSER’S OFFICE’.

My eyes flickered to the worried expression on Ilene’s face from Mr. Messer’s Door.

“He’s waiting for you,” she announced, expressionless. I rolled my eyes at her tone. Ilene was in her mid-fifties and was only working here so she could stay out of debt. She had like ten kids and was divorced seven or eight times; she only showed signs of happiness when Ethan walked in the room. But for different reasons than the other women here at Messer & Co., others so they could get in his pants, her to get a raise. Me… to stay in the job.

Ethan never liked me. Surprisingly he knew my name though. I was the only employee of his that he could actually remember a name with a face, which was a good thing, right?

Wrong.

He only knew my name because I was always the one getting included in ‘Office Scandals’. Including, taping a sign in the front foyer announcing Ethan got laid last night or framing a pair of his boxers
