'Laird Macdonnell watched in masked horror as the young lass was dragged away screaming his son's name; spewing her resentment to false promises.

"Breac come be privy to my chambres and alert your brothers also to this meeting"

Laird Macdonnell addressed his son formally and firmly before turning on his heel and strode towards his personal chambres.

Breac breathed deeply several times before turning in the opposite direction to find his brothers and rubbing the dark bruises on his knuckles.

He had to think like a future Laird. Like a clansmen and void himself of all personal emotion to keep himself from boiling over.

He found himself in front of his second brothers door and pushed the door open without delay. He was not in the mood for pleasantries or privacy at the moment.

"Braigh, Father seeks our privy in his chambre ye need to dress and follow me immediately." Breac spoke as he stepped into his brothers chambre.

His younger brother lay flat on his back, tanned skin beading with sweat; a wound on his arm freshly patched with a stark white bandage. His dark unruly curls stuck to his forehead and neck from the sweat soaking his skin and his dark eyes were blown open with intrigue and lust as he gazed upon the lover that was straddling his waist.

It wasn't the act that startled Breac..it was the lover.

It was the blind lad that had infuriated Breac so..

Braigh's dark eyes narrowed as he noticed his brother's presence and he quickly flipped himself and Hamish over and draped a fur over them concealing their indescenes.

"Breac! why did you enter my chambers unannounced."

Breac sputtered over his words; his worries temporarily diminished from the situation at hand.

"Why did I enter your chambre!? I should be asking ye why you were bedding a crippled servant lad! Did I mention lad? Cause ye do realize that is a lad? or have ye gone blind also!?"

Braigh rushed over  and covered his eldest brother's mouth; anger filling his eyes.

"Donna speak so loud ye fool and don't ye dare speak of Hamish in that manner!"

Breac bit his brothers hand harshly causing him to yelp and skitter back. The blind lad stumbled out of the bed as he splayed his hand against the large timber bed post for support.

"Braigh are ye alright?"

A look of fondness quickly spread over his brother's face as he turned to cup his lovers cheek.

"I'm fine Ham"

Breac scooped a tunic from the floor and tossed it to brother before quickly exiting the chambre.

He leaned against the large door once it was closed and looked up at the ceiling.

"Seriously?"
