Chapter 2

I sat on the chocolate brown leather seat next to Tess, opposite my principal - Mr Fisher. He was nice considering I was always in here, he cared a lot for me. He said I had a lot of potential and I shouldn't waste it etc. I stopped listening after that.

He clapsed his two hands together dragging a long sigh. ''Girls. Will you ever sort this out,'' He always asked us this, it would turn out in another arguement, you'd think he would have learnt not to ask again... Obviously not.

Why should we sort this out?! I will only sort it out when she's on her death bed choking. I thought of saying it instead I stayed quiet.

''Miss Middleton, please may you explain what happened to your face?'' He asked coach behind me. He asked an rhectorical question to put our misbehaviour in prespective. I guess that was his job to do so.

''Tess punched me in the face! She has no respect for anyone but herself, what so ever...'' Mrs Middleton kept the ice pack on her face. She was always backing me up when it came to the feud between me and Tess. She never support the fact Tess was now head cheerleader but the sport comity chose her.

''I was aiming for Charlotte.'' Tess defended gesturing to me, eyes brows clenched together, her forehead wrinkled, her lips screwed up in thought what to conjure to say next. She always would do that when she was lying or new she sounded awfully stupid or wrong. Which made it blantantedly obvious she was lying.

''And that makes it okay.'' Mr Fisher said nodding in fake agreement.

''No.'' Tess murmured, annoyed the fact she'd lost completely. She slouched back crossing her deeply tanned leg along with her tanned arms.

My prinicipals eyes dazed over towards me. ''And Charlotte it's your last day. Shouldn't you and Tess bury the hatchet.'' Mr Fisher looked at me hopeful. Bless him, he really did care. He never knew the reason me and Tess had this fued going on. To him it was just like I would come in his office in trouble with Tess as freinds and the next day we came in either arguing or fighting. I looked over to him, Tess, Mrs Middleton then back at Mr Fisher. ''I'd rather shoot myself in the foot.''

''That would be nice.'' Tess smirking darkly. How I would love to shoot her in the foot.

Mr Fisher sighed. ''I give up. Tess you have a after school detention Tuesday and Charlotte.'' He looked with pleading eyes shaded his eyes darker. ''Behave in your new school, please try and stay out of trouble and live a good life."

''Wait, wait, wait." Tess protested fiercely pushing her self up from the chair she was sat on. "I get a detention and she doesn't, that ain't fair." She frowned, once again her eyes brows clenched together, her forehead wrinkled but this time her lips were eased, she was simply angry.

''She's leaving today. She's not going to come back just for a detention. And if I recall correctly, you wound her up.'' Mr Fisher replied to her protest, rasing his eyes brows in victory.

"This is bull$hit!" Tess screamed as she stormed out. Tess... Always making everything so dramatically. Miss Middleton had given me a quick but heartly good bye before exiting shortly after. My head turned towards, my foot even twitched ready to leave Mr Fisher called, ''Charlotte.'' Instead of my legs heading towards the door it swirled towards my principal.

He took his suit jacket off, pulling his right arm out first, left, then away from his back. ''Be a good girl and please, live a good life. You have so much potential Charlotte don't forget that. AND stay, out of trouble!'' He said with a stern look attempting to make me shiver with fear, I laughed; It never worked. But you can't blame a man for trying. ''I will.'' I nodded.

''It was a pleasure to meet you Charlie." He smiled finally using my nickname after all these many years. "Take care of yourself.''
