LILY POV;
I woke up to somthing poking me.
'Jhfksfk' I mumbled.
Poke.
'Dkfnldshjlsdksdj' I mumbled again.
'Wake up.' It spoke while poking.
'No.' I moaned, curling up into a tight ball. I was not getting up, there was no way it could make me!
'Lily!' It complained.
'Ok, ok! I'll get up!' I yelled into my pillow.
'Finally!' It yelled in triumph.
'In an hour.' I finished.
'Urgghhhhhhhh!!' It groaned.
I felt the my duvet being ripped off me.
'Noooooooooooo.' I moaned. I clutched my pillow. It could have my duvet, but it could never have my pillow!
It started tucking on my pillow. I wrapped my arms and legs around my pillow tightly, keeping my eyes tightly shut. It let go of my pillow.
Yesssss! One Nil to Lily, none to... the poker?
I stayed tense and tightly wrapped around my pillow, anticipating its next attack.
My mattress sunk and a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I stayed very still. Maybe if i stayed still it would think I was dead or something and leave me alone.
It started kissing my neck. My eyes snapped open.I was very much awake now. It was James. I arched my back, cocking my head to the side, to give him better access to my neck.
I let my eyes slowly close, enjoying the attention.
I twisted around and brought his head up to my lips. They were so soft and gentle. He deepened the kiss, wrapping his arms tighter around my waist.
Eventually we both pulled away from the kiss, completely out of breath.
Once I managed to dragged enough oxygen into my lungs, i turned to look at his beautiful face.
'Marcus? What the fuck? Why the hell would you do that?' I yelled, jumping off my bed.
What? I thought you knew that was me?' Marcus protested.
'I thought you agreed to be friends?'
'Yes Lily. I agreed to be friends because I don't not want you in my life. If I can't have you as a girlfriend, then I will settle for second best. For a moment there I thought you had decided to pick me over James, but obviously I was wrong.'
'Marcus, I'm sorry. I'm not going to go back to you. I love James, and I can't imangine my life without him.'
'I get it. It's fine.' Marcus sighed.
'What are you doing here anyway?'
'James has been called away to- to a family meeting. It was rather sudden, so he didn't get a chance to say goodbye, but he'll be back in a couple of days.'
'Oh, ok.' I mumbled. I was a little saddened that James hadn't said goodbye and I wasn't going to be able to see him for 2 days. but it was only two days! I could make us supper when he got back.
'Why don't you call him?' Marcus suggested.
'Good plan.' I grinned, bouncing over to the phone. I grabbed it and quickly punched in the digits.
It rang a couple of times;
'Lily! I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. You were fast asleep and I didn't want to wake you.'
'Don't worry, James. It's fine.' I smiled at the sound of his voice.
'Ok, well I'm going to have to go but I'll see you soon.'
'Ok, See you soon.'
'I love you.' He spoke softly, making my heart flutter.
'I love you too.' I sighed, feeling blissfully happy with even just been able to hear him say those three magical words.
I ended to the call and glided happily to my bed. I collapsed on to my bed and hugged my pillow, a goofey smile playing on my lips.
'So what d'you wanna do today?' Marcus asked leaning against my frame of my door.
I shrugged burying my face into my pillow. I wanted to go back to sleep.
'You have a pool at this house right?' Marcus asked.
'Uh-huh.' I mumbled.
'Then we'll go swimming!' Marcus grinned excitedly.
'Ok. I want breakfast first though. Make me pancakes?' I said hopefully as i stood up on my bed.
'Go get showered and changed and I will make some pancakes.' Marcus rolled his eyes, as he walked out of my room to make me breakfast.
'Yay!' I said bouncing up and down on my bed.
I showered and picked out my favourite swim suit. It was a blue and white striped tankini.
I grabbed a towelling dress and jogged downstairs.
