I'd fallen and smacked my head on the table. I've always been so clumsy! The doctor had stitched it right up, telling me I'd be fine. He told me that the baby was fine, it hasn't taken any damage.
Liam was clearly still freaking out. He was biting his nails ferociously, almost like he was gnawing his fingers off.
"Liam!" I shouted, causing all the boys in the van we were being driven in look our way, "what's wrong? You've been acting weird this whole time! Calm down, I'm fine and so is the baby." I whispered to him, taking his hand in mine. His hands were warm and soft: squeezing mine in a comforting way.
"I know Cecie.. But what if something had happened?! What if..." He looked genuinely upset, which caused my heart to flutter.
"Liam, nothing is going to happen. I promise!" I reassured him.
"Yeah Li! And if it makes you feel better we can baby proof the house and make it safer!" Louis said with a proud smile on his face: happy because he found a way to help all on his own.
"There. Now will you stop worrying? Please?" I said quietly, looking into his eyes.
"Okay... But as soon as we get home the house is going to be safety-afied!"
"Alright Liam, sounds good to me."the rest of the ride, Liam and I held hands, his thumb stroking the back of my hand soothingly, protectively.
"Okay. We need those bumpers for corners, we need child protective locks, we need-"
"Liam. You're freaking out again." I warned. We were at the store looking for baby protection stuff. Liam was really set on it, so I just went with it.
"LIAM PAYNE OH MY HOLY JESUS!!"
Our heads snapped up to see about four girls freaking out. They ran up to us and starting firing questions.
"Are you two dating?"
"Why are you in the bay proofing isle?"
"Are you having a baby?!"
"What about Danielle?"
Wait... What? What about Danielle?
I looked over at Liam to see him taking pictures and signing autographs for the fans.
They left, and he turned to me.
"Sooo..." He mumbled.
"Who's Danielle?" I questioned quietly.
"Uhh... S-she's... Uhh..." Liam stuttered, obviously uncomfortable with this confrontation.
"Well?" I snapped. Okay, I guess I was being kind of a bitch, but who wouldn't in this situation? I mean really, I was pregnant, hormonal, hungry, in a store, and just found out the man I'm having a child with might have another girl.
"She's my girlfriend..." He whispered, but loud enough for me to hear.
With that I turned and left the store.
"Cecily! Cecily wait let me explain!" Liam yelled after me, chasing me out I the store.
I turned around, anger blaring inside me, causing my face to feel warm and probably turn red.
"Explain what exactly Liam? That even though we're having a CHILD together you somehow 'forgot', that you had a girlfriend?!" I yelled, disgust written on my face.
"No! It's not like that!" He yelled back, angrily running his hand over his shaved head.
"How is it then?! Explain it to me!" I yelled, arms crossed.
"I- I don't know how! It's hard to explain!" He yelled, obviously still frustrated.
"Awesome. Well I'm gonna go." I turned around, and hailed a taxi. I climbed in and told him the address.
I could feel Liam watching me, but I refused to turn too look at him.
I flew into my flat, and slammed the door, locking it.
I don't want to be bothered.
I walked slowly to my bed room, and fell into my bed. As my face hit the pillow, tears streamed down my face.
I should have known. I should have known someone like Liam was taken, should have known that someone like him wouldn't like me.
I was just some girl he screwed and knocked up.
I heard a knock on my door. I ignored it, not wanting to have to deal with that right now.
The knocking eventually went away, leaving me with the peaceful quiet.
"Cecie?" I almost jumped out of my skin!
Louis stood at the door, looking at me with concern.
"GODDAMN LOUIS! YOU DONT JUST SNEAK UP ON A PREGNANT GIRL WHO HAS NO IDEA THAT YOU'RE THERE LIKE THAT!" I screamed. I obviously have a problem with being scared.
"Sorry love." He chuckled, rubbing his neck awkwardly.
"How'd you get in?" I questioned. I had locked the doors, right?
"Keys." He said, holding up a key on a little tie, and spinning it on his finger.
I had forgotten I'd given all the guys keys.
"Lou... Why are you here?" I whispered.
I just wanted to be alone, no drama, just me by myself.
"Liam came home and told me what happened. He's a wreck."
Liam's a wreck over this? Good. He deserves to feel how I do.
"I hate seeing two of my closest friends like this. You guys need to work it out. I dont care how, but you are. Be in our flat in 10 minutes."
With that, he walked out of my room, leaving the flat, and leaving me to think.
