It's funny to see how we see the same things everyday. It's like everyday we reading the same page of a book. I ain't tryna sound hopeless but I might as well be. Instead of everybody being husband and wife, everybody's baby momma's and baby daddy's. Instead of peace and equality, there's violence and hatred towards another. It's like the morals of yesterday don't apply into today. I feel as if we're taking one step forward and fifty steps back. We need to start taking the initiative and set examples for the generations to come and stop derailing ourselves. Instead of being the junkie on the street let's be the future CEO's and leaders of our community. Instead of being the reason why people kill other people, lets be the reason why everybody is united. Instead of being insufficient parents, lets be our sons and daughters role models. Why complain about the struggles of today if you're not doing anything to erase them. Lets take out the fire that's burning and lets rebuild our community. Remember that violence is the language of the unheard.
