Life is not what you make it
It's really how you take it.
It's not what goes into the cake
It's really how you bake it
Some people who get lemons
Are dying and afraid
While others say, "Oh it's ok"
"We'll just make lemonade!"
Some people get the glass
And frown 'cause it's half empty
And others get the same
And say, "It's nearly full of plenty!"
Many will look down and cry
"My shoes are torn and beat"
While others will give thanks to God
For giving them two feet
Some people will give up the race
Because they did not win
And others will get right back up
And try and try again
Some wait for a lucky break
And when it doesn't come they stress
While others know preparation
Plus opportunity equals success
So it doesn't matter in life
How good or bad you had it
The only thing that matters
Is how you're looking at it.
