Sun streamed in through an opening in the thick curtains over my bedroom's large windows. I squinted at the light, rubbed my nose, and looked around the foreign room.

As I stretched, I felt a twinge of soreness between my legs and was reminded that Ferro had taken my virginity in his Ferrari. Still couldn't get over that. It was legendary, really.

I turned my head to the other side of the bed, to find Ferro gone. I guessed that whole cuddling thing hadn't lasted, since I was now at the edge of my side of the bed. A thousand thoughts flew through my head. Where had Ferro gone? Did he have work? Was he going to kill someone else? Why was that cloud for bed so comfortable? Most importantly, why was I bothering to think about anything, when I could just sleep forever on a cloud bed?

Sighing, I rolled over, away from Ferro's empty spot, and became level with a pair of dark sunglasses.

            "Hi."

"AHHHHH!" Startled, I sat up from the bed and put a hand to my chest. It was Ferro, but I only knew it was him once he slipped off his sunglasses. He was freshly showered, shaved, and wore all black business attire. When I screamed, he had winced significantly. I looked at him for another moment. "AHHH!"

"Tigrotta, Gesù Cristo! Did I really startle you that much?"

I touched my chin. "You shaved!"

Ferro nodded, his eyes amused. "I did. Good morning."

"Good morning..." I paused. "You shaved!"

"Every year, around this time, before Christmas, everyone in the estate shaves their beard in our family. I almost forgot about it, but Ben texted me about it."

"I didn't even recognize you. Who are you?"

Still a sexy fück, gracing this planet with his gorgeousness. I wonder what his smooth face would feel like between my legs now. Damn you, hormones! Damn you!

"Do you not like it?" Ferro asked, frowning a little. "My facial hair grows back fast."

I touched his jaw with one hand. His skin was so soft. I ran my fingers down his jaw, then his lips. He looked younger and kinder with no facial hair. It was like I was looking at different man. But even if I was, I would have almost known just as much about a stranger than Ferro La Morte. I lifted my gaze, and Ferro's eyes dark held mine. I started to think about all of the secrets and the intimate moments I'd shared with him the night before and many other times. My heart started to race. I pulled my hand back and cleared my throat.
