The story line for A Great English Pudding:
Alice (the main character), is an only parent. She has a son named Henry and they live in Greece. The relationship that Alice has with her mother is not as great as she would want too, but still she has her father.
The story begins some days before Alice and Henry leave once and for all from Greece to live in England, were her best friend Lina waits for them. Alice’s #1 gold is to find a job and not fall in love.
But all these changes when, the night that they land in London Alice meets a stranger named Tom. That strange but gentle guy, without telling Alice his last name, offeres to give them a ride since it’s late and they won’t find any transport around.
Basically this is how all begun…
