"Never Perfect"
I am not perfect,
Nor will I ever be;
Stop seeing me for
Not someone me.
I could never be as
Flawless as in movies;
Even they tell stories,
Far from reality.
But although I'm not perfect,
I'm imperfectly perfect;
Could that type of perfect
Be what you expect?
I am not perfect,
Nor will I ever be;
Stop seeing me for
Not someone me!
If you could not accept
A slight defection,
I'm never gonna be
Your right person.
So what if I'm not?
I'm so tired of changing
For you—
Why am I even trying?
I am not perfect,
Nor will I ever be;
See someone else then,
NOT me.
