CHAPTER THREE
WARNING
The next morning it wasn't my alarm that woke me. Jenny called me freaked out because she had a horrible hang over. I drove over to her house and helped her with the cleaning. I didn't know what to do about the hang over because I'd never had one in my life. "Ugh you're so lucky! I feel like my head is going to explode and I'm so thirsty, my mouth is dry, and my body is sore" she complained. "Well you wanted to drink. I told you we had to get Pete drunk, not you" I said. "I know, but I didn't want him to think I couldn't drink or something, besides I only had like four drinks""You're hopeless then" I was putting the bottles in a plastic bag and cleaning the table and Jenny was drinking water. "We should do something tonight" I needed to get my mind somewhere else and stop thinking about last night's event. I didn't tell Jenny about it. I made a decision and that was to avoid Isaac and to not think about him. I was angry at him. "Yeah let's call Pete" Jenny said smiling. "Yeah and we could drink again" I said teasingly. "Oh no, I'm never drinking again" she kept drinking water."Of course you are" I laughed. "Maybe, I'm feeling better actually. I took an aspirin" she grabbed her cell phone "its not that early is it?" she wondered."I guess he took an aspirin too. Call him" I encouraged. I walked outside with the plastic bags and put them on the side of Jenny's house as she told me to. I sighed remembering last night. I stayed there a moment watching my car for a moment. I snapped out it and walked back into the house.Jenny was smiling with the phone on her hand. "What did Pete say?"She grinned "I need to see what I'm going to wear!" she said alarmed."Wear anything, where are we going?" now she'll worry more about her outfits, I realized. "We're going to Pete's house at four, he'll ask Carl if he can go too" she walked out of the kitchen "Come help me"In her bedroom, I told her what to wear. A mini green skirt I'd never seen her using and a white t-shirt. "I look like a soldier" she said watching herself in the mirror."Exactly. You'll get near Pete and say: Your wish is my command" I said in a sexy voice. She laughed nervously. I went back home to get ready too. And as soon as I stepped inside, I stopped sharp. Isaac and Alexa were in the living room.
Damn it.
"Hey sis. how's the hang over?" Alexa teased."I don't have any, thank you" I told her dryly."Hello" Isaac greeted me."Yeah whatever" I walked to my bedroom."That was rude!" my sister yelled for me to hear upstairs."I don't care" I yelled back.I showered. And put on black jeans and a red strapless tank top, my black leather boots. I underlined my eyes and let my hair down. It was 3:25 p.m. I walked to the kitchen to grab something to eat. I hadn't realized but I haven't eaten anything yet. But as soon as I walked in the kitchen I felt nauseous.
"Hi darling, where are you going?" my mom asked. She was cooking with Isaac on her side. Alexa was sitting on the table watching them."I'm going out with my friends" I wasn't about to reveal my location with Isaac so close to hear."Won't you be here for dinner? Isaac here is teaching me a new recipe""I didn't know you could cook" I said to him."I try" he said with a shy smile."Sure. I'm leaving. Don't wait up mom" I kissed her on the cheek and walked toward the front door.I was turning the doorknob when a hand grabbed my arm "are you avoiding me?" Isaac asked with a hurt expression."I'm trying but it's kind of difficult with you in my house too" I said bitterly."I'm sorry; I just wanted to see you""But I don't want to see

" I yanked my arm and he let go. We stared at each other for a moment. And finally he looked away."I'll give you the space you need" he whispered and walked back to the kitchen.I stormed out of there angrier than before and slid inside my car.

what a nerve! What if I don't want space? But I do...right? Yes I do. I'm tired of seeing him with Alexa all the time. I wouldn't mind if he was alone...I drove to Jenny's house annoyed. She'd be home. It was not four yet and I didn't eat anything at home."What happened?" she asked watching me eat a sandwich angrily."Nothing. cheer me up "Good, maybe he can put a good game in pool like he does on tequila shot contests" I finished my sandwich."Yeah, that was so weird, I thought only you could resist alcohol like that" she said frowning."I'm not so special after all, huh?"She laughed "I guess not".Pete opened the door. His blue eyes were red and his hair was messy. Other than that he looked as cute as always.
