"This isn't right, Cas," Dean muttered, pushing the male away. Cas narrowed his gaze at Dean. "I-it's.. It's..."

"For the greater good," Cas cut in. Dean lifted his gaze to Cas who straddled him. His heart gave a stutter at the innocence in the angel's eyes. Did Cas really think this would benefit the world? Would this, what they were about to do, would it stop evil in its tracks? His jaw tightened and loosened numerous times.

"It's weird," he finally said, ignoring Cas' statement. "I mean... If this," he motioned between Cas and himself with his hands before continuing, "If you and I were going to happen, I didn't want it to happen this way," he explained, turning away from Cas. "I wanted it to happen like it does in the movies. Y'know.... Romantic and all that crap." The elder Winchester chanced a glance at the other, whose brows were pulled together. "What?" Dean asked defensively.

"I thought you hated that kind of stuff," Cas replied, obviously confused. Dean rolled his eyes and reached up, grabbing the other male by his collar and pulling him down. With their faces inches apart, Dean could feel Cas' warm breath against his lips, smell the mint gum he had been chewing earlier. "Dean..."

"Shut up. Just.. Shut up." Dean pressed his forehead against Cas' as his nose brushed gently against his. Cas placed his hands on either side of Dean's head to keep himself up. Hesitantly, they both leaned in.

Just as their lips were about to touch, Cas was turned over and Dean was now on top, their position matching the one they were previously in. "Just so we're clear, I'm not doing this for 'The Greater Good,'" Dean cleared up.

"Dean?" Cas asked, hands feeling the hunter's chest, which was currently hidden beneath a black t-shirt.

"Yeah?"

"Shut up and kiss me already."

Sam and Bobby sat on either side of the kitchen, both eyeing Dean as he paced the library in Bobby's house. "How long has he been at it?" Bobby asked in a hushed whisper, throwing a glance at Sam. The taller male raised amused brows, taking in some air before shrugging and letting it out.

"I dunno. An hour. Two maybe," Sam replied, cocking his head to look down at Bobby. "I don't blame him for hesitating." He pressed his lips together, a sympathetic expression crossing his features. "C'mon Bobby, you know you don't either. If Cas really is working with Crowley, Dean's going to be..."

"Crushed." Bobby sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. After a thoughtful moment, he lowered his hand and stepped forward. "Listen, son," he started, causing Dean to stop and face him. "If you don't think you can do it... I'll be more than happy to call Cas down." Emerald hues narrowed and Dean stood taller, shoulders locking. His lips pressed into an even tighter frown. Seeing this, Sam quickly came to Bobby's side.

"Dean, he was just offering because..." His shoulders rose and fell in a soft shrug, brows creasing. "Because you seem kinda unsure."

Dean licked his lips, glaring at the two before him. "I amunsure, Sammy. I mean, this is Cas we're talking about! He..." His gaze fell to the floor, the mask he wore so well cracking. "He wouldn't... He couldn't do this to us. NOT him." The determination in his voice caused Sam to shift his weight from one foot to the other uncomfortably. "Not him." Dean looked up and between the other two males, setting his back straight, the determination that was in his voice transferred over to his face. "Cas! Get your feathered ass down here, NOW." For a moment, the three hunters looked around -- Bobby's expression was one he always kept on his face, one that just screamed 'Idjits.' Sam, on the other hand, was trying to hide the worry from showing by raising an impatient brow.
