Chapter 1: School?

[Eavey's P.O.V.]

I got up from Erik's lap and walked over to the TV in front of me. I hit the button to turn off the DVD player and changed it back to the regular TV station. We had just finished watching (and making fun of) a vampire movie. Humans were so stereotypical. They didn't know a thing about vampires. Your asking how do I know this. Because I am one and I have been one for thirty years. You want to know something amazing I'm seventeen. Yeah seventeen and I have been alive for forty-seven years. Every woman's dream right.
I felt two arms slide around my waist and pull me up against something solid. Erik stood behind me kissing my neck up to my mouth and back down again. Erik was my husband and you could tell this by the huge diamond I had on my fourth finger. I absolutely loved him. He had saved me multiple times and I knew that we were meant to be due to the fact that Ella, my sister in law, told me that she saw it. I believed her.
I turned in his arms to face him and kissed him gently on the lips and pulled him closer to me. Tomorrow was going to be a huge day for me. When I was seventeen I practically dropped off the edge of the Earth. Once I became a vampire I was to busy with everything else to ever actually go to school so we just had my record burned and everyone pretty much forgot about me.
"So are you ready for tomorrow love?" Erik whispered brushing his lips across my ear and making me shiver. He still made me speechless. I nodded. He kissed my neck and down to my shoulder making my shirt sleeve slip a bit.
"Uh-hum. You two love birds need to remember that we moved in here. THREE years ago." Ella said a little disappointed. I was guessing that she had thought I had completely forgotten about her. OH NO. That was not the problem. She had me out every second of every day. Erik and I had moved to California so that we wouldn't accidentally run into someone that remembered me. Tomorrow we were going to say that we were exchange students from England. I loved England. I had been there many time over the last thirty years and it was quite beautiful. Alex and Ella were going to come with us to. The only part I hated about going back to school was the fact that no one could know that Erik and I were married. I hated that girls were going to be all over him. Oh but after I got through with them they may not want to do that. Nope nope.
"I know. I know." I said pulling away from Erik and giving him a wink. Ella caught me and burst out laughing while Alex looked around at us like we were all crazy. I walked over to the couch and sat down. It was four thirty in the mourning. Wondering why I'm not asleep. Well duh I'm a vampire. Vampire don't sleep. They can if they want to but it's not needed. I liked sleeping due to the fact that whenever you dream everything is in such vivid colors. I liked to watch everything all colorful and all that. In three hours I would be sitting in a classroom filled with people I didn't know. That's when I remembered something. I jumped up from the couch startling Ella and Alex who both stared at me. I ran to the door and flung it open and grabbed the mailbox lid. Inside were our schedules. I already knew Erik and I had all our classes together. I just didn't know what classes we had. We were playing off seniors this year. I would be able to pass easily. I handed Ella, Alex, and Erik theirs and we all ripped ours open. I wasn't surprised to find that Ella and Alex had all their classes back. One thing on my schedule caught my eye. I wasn't sure but my physic's teacher's name seemed so familiar. Ms.Caiman. I wasn't sure why but I was guessing that I was mistaken.
"Hey you guys we seriously need to hunt before we go to a huge school with like three hundred people and all that blood and you know and yeah." Alex said. I could tell by the color of his eye's he was hungry. Ella's eyes were half purple half blue and Erik's and mine were both dark purple. Alex's eyes were nearly purple but had a tinge of blue on the outside edges. Erik and I both nodded. Ella hesitated but nodded. I got up and Erik put his arm around my waist. We did drink human blood just not enough to kill them and then we would leave them where they would never figure out what happened. Erik and I had our own way of getting dinner. It was kind of funny to see how many guys comfort a broken hearted girl whose boyfriend just got done yelling at her. I usually got some pretty nice guys but sometimes I would get someone who was a complete ass. Erik would usually end up accidentally almost killing him. He would never kill anyone though. Unless they hurt me or his family. Erik and I walked to the closest bar and I did my act. Right away three guys came up to me "fake" crying at a table. The guy closest to me tapped my shoulder.
