Shyre Town orphanage. Filled to almost to the brim the with family less children. Most of the children were out in the streets playing. Three still remained. They sat in the girls shared room. Bamboo mats lay on each side of the room; there was twelve in total, six on each side. This room was one of the two rooms that was shared by the girls of the orphanage.  A small brown sack filled with brown coin sat in front of them. Each child had an ecstatic look on their face as they counted the coins. Two coins, one coin short from the total they needed. Three coins what the amount they needed to buy 3 tickets for a magic show that was coming to town. Faces turned from happy to sad. Vienna, the smallest of the three, sobbed lightly into her long, dark violet hair. She was upset, it had always been her’s and her friend’s dream to learn, and they all hoped that after the show they could hitch a ride with the wizards. Scarlett, the middle sized of the three, sat staring at the floor whilst playing with her messy, bright red hair. Crimson, the eldest of the three, sat there trying to come up with a plan to get the last coin.

“I know! I have a plan guys, but your not going to like it.” Crimson told them whilst pulling her dark blue hair from her face. She spoke with a firm and confident voice as if she was the leader of the other two.

Both Scarlett and Vienna moved closer to Crimson waiting to hear her idea. In their hearts they knew that this idea would be ridiculous and most likely get them in trouble, but they wished for it to be effective in getting them a coin.

“We are going to have to steal the coin from Lady Julie!” Crimson exclaimed.

Shock struck Scarlett and Vienna’s faces as Crimson sat their smiling at her idea. Lady Julie was their carer in the orphanage as well as being their friend, they would never even think of doing anything horrible to her. Both were shocked that Crimson had came up with such an idea. Scowls fell upon Crimson as her friend looked down on her.

“Hey, don’t give me that look! It’s just one gold coin, besides when we become great wizard we will earn enough money to pay her back one hundred gold coins!” She told with great confidence in her words.

Scarlett’s face instantly turned from a frown to a smile within seconds of Crimson’s speech. On the other hand Vienna was still weary of this plan, she did not like it one bit, unkindness was not in her nature. Soon after the two friends notice their friends doubts about the plan. Both of them moved over to comfort her and cheer her up. With a quick tug Scarlett pulled her up to her feet and pulled her into a hug whilst Crimson offered her a reassuring smile.

“Look at it this way Vienna. She is giving us one coin for one hundred coins in return. That’s an amazing deal if you ask me.” Crimson comforted.

Vienna gave up retaliating as she knew it was no use. She still disagreed with the plan but Crimson and Scarlett would not take no for an answer. Knowing that it was wrong, Vienna was going to take part in the plan but she was also not going to stop the others from completing it.

Their plan was ready, they knew exactly what to do. Slowly the door to the girl’s room opened revealing two small figures peeking out from behind it. Both figures snuck down the oak floored corridor and down the oak stair case. Down two flights of stairs they went. The carers of this building all had rooms downstairs. The room next to the kitchen, this was Lady Julie’s room. They had reached their destination. Ear pressed up against the door, listening intently to see if anyone was inside the room. All clear no one inside. Even slower the door to the room creaked open again revealing two small figures. Feet crept along the oak floor boards towards a leather bag that lay on a grand, chestnut dresser. Quickly the bag was tugged open revealing ten gold coins. Joy filled the faces of the two girls who held the bag. Without thinking twice about it, Crimson reached into the bag and pulled out a gold coin.
