Unknown's POV

I smiled brightly at the mailman as he handed me the large, orange envelope. "Thanks, Herbert."

After he drove off, I looked down at it with a smirk. If my sources were correct, the information that I would find on this paper would ruin her life forever. If they were correct, and they better hope they are, then she isn't the perfect little princess he thinks she is.

She's an alcoholic and a druggie. What billionaire would want something like that walking beside him?

I made my way inside my quaint apartment and opened the envelope. I pulled out the sheets of paper with the results. I let out a hearty laugh and reached for my phone and voice simulator. From memory, I typed her number in and smiled as it began ringing.

"Hello?" Her voice said into my ear. I stayed silent. "Hello?"

I held the simulator up to my lips. "Hello."

"Um, who is this?"

"You need not worry who I am." I leaned back in my chair and propped my legs up on the desk. "How was the meal with Brittany and Jason?"

"I asked you a question."

"As did I," I replied. "I heard it didn't go very well."

"If this is some type of stupid prank, it's not funny."

I laughed. "I never said it was funny."

"Dontae, I swear-"

I scoffed. "Try again sweetheart."

"Millie?"

"Nope."

She sighed, "I'm hanging up now."

"But wait, we haven't even started talking yet." I peered over at the brush sitting on my kitchen counter and remembered how hard it was to find a natural hair out of the many strands of the weave.

I would never understand how a girl could paste somebody else's hair onto their own head.

"Listen here you little fucker, I have no time for this," She growled softly. "You sound like a fucking robot and I am tired of hearing it."

"It's a shame you can't find your brush," I blurted, hoping that would make her stay on the line a little while longer. "You really could've used it the other day when you went out with him. Your hair looked like a bird's nest."

I heard her inhale deeply. "What the fuck did you just say to me?"

"You know, it's interesting what a simple strand of hair can tell you. I've learned so much about you from yours."

"Who is this? How did you know my brush was missing?"

"Have a nice day." I ended the call and rested my phone back on my desk.

She had ruined my life. And now, I was going to ruin hers.

Liv's POV

"It was so fucking weird!" I exclaimed, pacing the room. "He, I mean she, I mean...whatever! It asked me about your dad and La Mexicana and how they know it went bad. And then it started talking about my brush and how I needed it when you and I went out on our date. Then they started rambling on about what a strand of hair can tell you!" I plopped down in the chair in front of Jonathan's desk. "I think I'm being stalked."

Jonathan laughed. "You really could've used the brush that day..."

"Weren't you the same one that told me I looked fine?" I rolled my eyes.

"I was always taught to tell a woman she looked beautiful no matter what. That's why I get all the babes." He smirked and crossed his suit-clad arms over his broad chest.

"You're so arrogant."

He laughed. "I think you're delusional."

"Delusional? You weren't the one on the phone with the fucking robot hearing the last couple weeks of your life being repeated to you!"

He sighed. "Babe, you need to calm down. It's probably just Brittany trying to scare you away. As you know, she doesn't exactly like you."

"What about the brush? My brush disappeared and it's not a coincidence this person knows about it!"

"When Isabella gets back from her vacation, we can ask her if Brittany stopped by the house recently."

I leaned back in the chair, slowly calming down. "And what if nobody has? Where could my brush have gone?"

"Knowing you, you probably put it down somewhere and can't remember where you left it."

I rolled my eyes. "What should I do if they call back though?"

"How about we get you a new phone number?" He shrugged. "It's not the best thing we can do, but it'll at least help prevent them from calling."

"I guess you're right."

"I know I am," He smirked and looked down at his watch. "I think it's time for you to get back to work."

I scoffed as I stood up. I made the 20 steps over to the corner of the room where my desk stood.

For some reason, dear ol' Johnny boy thought that if I got my own office, I'd end up cursing somebody out or beating the shit out of them. So, to avoid any lawsuits against me, he decided it would be a good idea to stick a desk in his office and slap my name on it.

"This way, I can keep a good eye on you," He had said proudly as if he was the first person to calculate the circumference of the sun.

Just as I was about to take a seat, the door burst open and Mia burst in with the biggest smile on her face.

"Victoria Secret's having a sale!" She exclaimed.

"You can't just burst in my office like this!" Jonathan barked angrily.

"This is my office too. Therefore, as my friend, she can burst in as she pleases." I shot him a pointed look to which he rolled his eyes.

Mia snapped her fingers. "Hey, chica, are you coming or are you not coming?"

I quickly reached into my desk and grabbed my purse. Practically skipping in excitement, I bounded over to Jonathan and gave him a quick kiss before walking out with Mia hot on my heels.

As we walked out the building and into the parking garage, there was a distant flash I saw out of the corner of my eye. Instinctively, I turned and saw another flash come from a black car. I swear I'd seen that car before on more than one occasion. Shaking it off, I made my way into Mia's car.

Maybe I really am delusional...
