“This is my song” I screamed before we even got in the door at Club Envy. It was the back to school teen party and of course me and my girls had to step out looking fyi. I had on a beige haltered shorts romper, my twin, Alyssa had on a pink collared shorts romper. Our best friends Lizzie and Erin both had on beaters and short shorts because of the summer heat. All of us had on white Polo shoes to agree with our outfits.

We were almost to the front of the line with about three more people in front of us. We were getting our hand stamped when Lizzie said “Look, there go those hoodrats from down the street. The ones that tried Alyssa up” I looked up to where she was pointing and saw that she was talking about Stacey and her crew.

Stacey has always hated me and Alyssa since we was little. Our mom and her mom went to school together. My mother was new to the school and Stacey’s mom was the popular cheerleader. Our mom soon decided to try out for the squad. Stacey’s mom was cool with the new girl trying out and making the team until she found out that our mother was going to take her place at the top as head cheerleader and everything that came with it including the popularity and the boyfriend.

At that moment everything went downfall for Stacey’s mom. After that she despised our mother and her ex-boyfriend who later became happily married with our mom and had his two beautiful twins, us. Stacey’s mom brainwashed her daughter into not liking us but we didn’t care. We already have our two best friends from elementary school and didn’t need anyone else in our crew.

We finally made it into the party. Bring it back by Travis Porter was playing by now and me and my crew went straight to the dance floor.

We were dancing the night away and didn’t care about anyone and their drama. It was just us having fun. I looked up and saw Alyssa dancing on some boy. “She getting it in” I screamed at Erin. Erin looked up and starting smiling but her smile slowly faded as she finally recognized who the boy was. She turned to me and screamed “That’s Stacey’s man Corey and she is heading this way”

I looked up to see Stacey stalking this way and her crew behind her. Her crew included her, her cousin Aria, and her best friend Emma. I went over to Alyssa while keeping my eyes on Stacey and whispered in her ear “Sorry to ruin your dancing but this is Stacey’s man and she is coming this way” Alyssa looked and saw Stacey, laughed and kept on dancing.

Stacey finally got up to us and asked Corey what he was doing. Corey just said dancing and kept on dancing. I stood next to Alyssa waiting on Stacey to leave but something told me she wasn’t going to. She yelled at Corey to come on but he wouldn’t listen and just kept dancing.

When the song came to an end Alyssa looked at Stacey, smiled and laugh her way off the dance floor. Lizzie, Erin, and I followed. We went to the bathroom to freshen up and we was laughing and talking about what had just happened. We didn’t hear the bathroom door open because we were so loud.

“So y’all find this humorous” yelled Stacey

“Look don’t come up in here starting stuff that you can’t finish” I said

“What makes you think I can’t finish” Stacey snapped.

“You are clearly outnumbered” Lizzie said laughing.

“That don’t mean shit” Aria snapped

“Ahh we scared” Alyssa and I said at the same time laughing.

“Y’all think y’all funny huh” asked Emma

“Man, we ain’t got time for the bull. If it’s something then handle it but until then me and my girls about to bounce” I said.

At that cue, my girls and I left the restrooms. We went back to the dance floor and continued our dancing. At this time No Hands by Waka was on. It was back to just us dancing the night away.

Out of nowhere Stacey appeared and punched Alyssa in her face. That was my cue; I jumped over Alyssa and punched Stacey in the nose. Stacey fell and Alyssa jumped on her and was putting it in. I turned around just in enough of time to see Aria coming at me. I punched her so hard that it was a one hitter quitter. Erin and Lizzie had Emma down giving it to her.

I felt a thick arm around me and I started screaming. I quickly recognized it has a security arm pulling us out of the party. I was pissed but I knew that Stacey and her crew knew not to mess with us anymore. After I made sure everyone was ok, We jumped in my care and went home. I dropped Erin and Lizzie back at their house and Alyssa and I went home. I jumped straight into the shower and went to bed. I knew that tomorrow was going to be a long day.
