Asher's POV

"Where did you get these?" Jonah asked, picking up one of the paintball guns. Jonah was in shocked when he pulled the trigger and paint splattered all over his wall.

"Remember when I worked at the Arcade last year?"

He nodded. "Didn't you get fired for yelling at that kid and his grandma?"

"That old bitch was trying to steal balls."

"Balls that she paid for." He said it like he was stating the obvious.

"Anyways," I continued, ignoring him "I stole them when they fired me."

"Your plan is to hit the Jefferson kids with the paintballs?"

"Nope, my plan is to go after their precious cars."

Dear Alex,

I couldn't sleep so it's literally midnight as I write this and I can't stop thinking about what you're really name can be. I finally came up with the name Alex because you sound like an Alex. But first and foremost, my name is Kassandra not blond bitch. By the way, I'm not even blond! I have light brown hair that reached the middle of my back. You do realize you sound like a complete psychopath right? I hope you didn't hurt that guy with your pencil. As for your friend, nobody really talk about the pen pal project so I have no clue who could be Jonah's pen pal. Anyways, because of you I was completely nice to Sophia today and I even invited her to a sleepover. Have you ever felt lonely even though you are surrounded by a bunch of people? That's how I feel every day. I want someone to understand me. Anyways, I gotta get some z's.

Xoxo

Kassandra.

"Why are you smiling?" Jonah asked, snatching the paper from my hands. "Oh la la, Ashie got a letter from his girlfriend." He teased.

"Shut up." I hissed, snatching the paper back and putting it in my bag.

"Dude do you like her?" He asked laughing.

"No!" I scoffed, "She's annoying."

"Whatever you say," He replied sarcastically, "Can you ask her about Sophia for me? She sounds interesting." I rolled my eyes as I passed him the joint. Of course Jonah would like Sophia based on blond bitch description of her. In the past, I have put up with Jonah's weird girlfriends but I am refusing to do this any longer. I will kick her out of my car even if we are in the middle of the highway.

I ran my fingers through my hair and stared ahead to where the girl's hockey team were practicing. "I'm bored." I whined.

"Do you want to go play poker with some of the guys?"

"Not really," I shrugged, "I don't have money and my mom stash hers in a new place."

"Actually, they are not playing for money but for valuables."

"Still no," I replied, "I don't really need another switchblade or a free pass to the strip club."

Jonah chuckled. "So what do you want to do?"

"Maybe today is the perfect day to get our revenge." I smirked.

"Good idea," He agreed, "let's get other people to do it too."

"How many guns did you steal?" Jonah asked.

"Six." I replied.

"Let's go!"

"Don't you think the ski mask is a little extreme?" Jonah asked, "we looked like we are about to shoot up the place."

"Relax man," I chuckled, "No one is around anyways."

"Then why do we need to wear them?"

"It's called immunity my friend," I explained, "this stupid prep school probably has cameras everywhere and unlike you, I'm on probation."

"Let's lock and load then."

Everyone pulled down their ski mask and grabbed their paint guns and we got out the car. Of course it wasn't Rosita because I would never bring her on a mission so I invited Josh and we took his car. If we get caught, it's his license plates, not mines.

The stupid prep school had three parking lot—isn't it nice to be rich and privilege? We only had one parking lot and if you arrive late than you would have to park at the star market which was a 15 minute walk to the school.

We split up into teams and Jonah and I went to the parking lot near the field. I wonder why know no one was outside? At Lincoln, everyone would be outside at one point, smoking and skipping a class.

We redecorated their precious cars and accidently broke some of their windows but we didn't care. After Jonah and I were done, we were walking back to meet the others when we ran into a couple of football players.

"Hey!" One of them yelled. "What are you guys doing?"

"Should we?" I asked.

"We shall." Jonah replied.

We raised our guns and fired at the prep guys.
