"Kim HaeWon. Turn around and face me."

Lee JiEun...you better run and hide before I find you and kill you...

"HaeWon. Turn around."

I slowly shifted my foot around and turned slowly. My eyes were looking down at the ground.

"Look at me."

I slowly lifted up my head to see someone I had never seen before. He was tall, taller than me by at least a head. His hair was bleached and messy, but somehow, it seemed to look good on him. His eyes were the perfect size, not too big and not too small. His skin was perfectly white and smooth. A lot of girls would kill to have his skin...

Who am I facing?

I don't even know. How was I put into this mess? It's all because of my best friend...who will soon be my dead best friend. What am I going to do with her? I could just end it slowly for her by choking her with a belt...or I could just drown her in water. No...that's too little pain for her...maybe I could get a knife and cut off all her hair first...

"Are you Kim HaeWon?" he asked, looking at me.

Wasn't it obvious that I was her? I mean...he did call out my name...and I did turn...

It was funny actually. I don't even know how he found me. There was a bunch of girls hanging on to the gate when these guys came. I knew I shouldn't have, but I did. I walked up to see who they were looking at. I couldn't even catch a glimpse because of so many people. But then guess what happened? Someone called out my name (a guy's voice) and then everyone suddenly disappeared, leaving me on the ground, coughing. Okay...well...they just didn't call out my name. They went "IF ANYONE ISN'T KIM HAEWON, GET OUT OF HERE."

And that's why everyone ran. I was too shocked to run. It wasn't like I didn't try? After I was left in the dust, I tried to get up and run. But then some idiot called my name and told me to turn around.

"Eung..." I said, looking at him. He had a few other friends who were in the back smoking while leaning against the gate. Are they stupid or is it just me? They aren't allowed to smoke on the school campus. And this isn't even their school. Their school uniform was different from ours. The way they dressed and the way they held their posture told everyone that they couldn't be from our school. Most of our guys were nerds who couldn't get into the other high school across town because they would just get beaten up.

"Do you know me?" he asked.

Umm...no...should I?

What did JiEun do anyways? JiEun ya...what did you tell me...I forgot...

It was at lunch time when she ran up to me and started babbling. I couldn't exactly hear what she was saying so I told her to calm down.

"HaeWon!! I did something wrong!" JiEun yelled.

"What did you do this time?" I wasn't surprised see, because JiEun was always doing stupid things. She picks fights without even knowing. She was a very blunt person.

"I went to my brother's school to drop off his lunch he forgot...stupid ba.stard...when I get home-"

"JiEun! Tell me what happened!" I interrupted.

"There was this one guy who came at me as I was running out. Then suddenly I tripped and my books flew out of my hands and hit this one guy. He got really really mad and then started cussing at me. I got mad at him and then started arguing with him. Then I pushed him and he fell back on top of his friends. He got extremely mad and threatened to kill me!" JiEun cried out.

"Well, he doesn't know who you are, so I don't think that'll be a problem," I said, just eating my lunch.

I noticed how JiEun still looked very tense. I looked at her. There was something wrong with the way she looked at me.

"JiEun...does this have something to do with me?!" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"Well...um...as I was running out...I dropped my ID..." she muttered.

"JIEUN! How can you do that?" I cried. "What are you going to do now? We have to hide you!"

"Um...I'm not worried about them coming after me..." she whispered to me. Something about the way she acted didn't seem right.

...

"What do you mean?"

"Did you remember how I borrowed your ID to go the bar...?"

JiEun wasn't the age to drink yet, but I was. We were both in year three, but I was several months older than her. She could use my ID because we looked similar.

"Uh huh..." I said slowly.

"Well...that was the ID that I dropped," she said, stepping back. I stood up as she started to step back further. "HaeWon ah...see, I know you're very mad at me...but that's not the worse part."
