Chapter Ten

Kakashi and I spent an hour or so at Ichiraku, and he even paid for my meal. Afterwards, we decided to go for a walk around the village.

"ANBU huh?" I chuckled. "I've had a few run-ins with those. I always managed to hold my own though."
The silver haired man rolled his eyes playfully. "Probably because you never went up against me."

I just hummed in response, shoving my hands in my pockets and letting my hair fall in front of my eyes.

My face is turning red...

"How was your time away from the village?"

I smirked.
"I did a lot of training. Learned some new stuff...."
Kakashi's interest seemed to peak at this. It was then I decided that maybe I should tell him how I feel

"....Fell in love."

He stopped walking. Next, he spoke two words that I never would have imagined him ever uttering.

"Me too"
