I got to Father's study and knocked on the door. "Come in, Destiny." Father said. Wow, he knew it was I. I went in and sat down on one of the many huge yet very comfy chairs in there. He was right across from me at his desk. "Why are you here, Destiny? Not that I'm not happy to see you and all." Father was such a gentleman. "I'm here because I'm curious. Why don't dragons and vampires get along? Jack said it was best not to say over the phone and to get you to tell me." I explained. His face turned into something I couldn't identify. "Jack was right. It probably was best not to say over the phone. You see, Destiny, a long time ago dragons and vampires were friends. They lived among each other and ruled together. But one day, a dragon leader turned corrupt. He got many together of his kind and attacked the vampire kind. We finally have stopped the wars due to exposure risk, but there is still hostility. You can never trust a dragon. We've learned that lesson many a times, especially when some of our kind fell in love with theirs. They're brutal killing machines that killed the vampires who fell in love with them. I allow Jack because you trust him and Allen has read his mind and told me. But still, please be very careful with him. Please, my daughter, please." Wow. I felt stunned. Jack wasn't like that, at the least. "I will, Father. I will." He gave me a small smile. "I need to go now Father. Goodbye." "Goodbye, Destiny." I closed the door and headed towards Alexandrid, following his scent. I came to a door that seemed to be his room. He opened his door right before I was about to knock with a surprised look on his face. "Hey," I said. "Hi Destiny. What's up?" "Can't I visit my boyfriend? I'll leave if you want me to..." I said, a smile on my face, and turned. He grabbed my shoulder and pulled me into his room. I was giggling the whole time, the happiness from before coming back. He was laughing with me, my laughter apparently being contagious. I then stopped abruptly when he kissed me out of the blue. I kissed back and we stood like that for a while, kissing. I have to admit; I haven't had much romantic experience. I was the one to pull away in the end. "Wow. That was unexpected." I said, my breathing being a little shallow. "What? I can't kiss my girlfriend? I'm leaving then..." He turned and I did the same thing he did to me, only a bit too hard to where we fell onto the floor. We were both laughing. I then had a good idea. "Hey Alexandrid?" "Yes, Destiny?" He was curious. Good. "Is there a pool here?" "Indoors or outdoors?" He asked me. What? Indoor and outdoor pools? "Indoor one, please. Can we go swimming?" I really wanted too. "Sure. Go get changed and I'll meet you outside your door." "Sweet!" I got up and flew to my bedroom. Before I was completely out of hearing range I heard a, "Wow. What's the rush? Must be really excited." I laughed. I searched frantically through my drawers for a swimsuit and found one. I took off my clothes and flung it on. It fit perfectly. I went into my bathroom and found a beach towel. I went to my door and he was there, swim trunks and all. He was topless, too. I had never seen him topless. I looked away right away. I decided on just looking at his face. He winked, gave me a quick peck on the cheek, and said, "Come with me." He grabbed my hand and we were off. I love being rich. I heard Allen laugh and then he appeared. "Going swimming, are we? Can I come too? Jessica, if she wants too? I haven't gone swimming in a while." Allen asked, using puppy-dog eyes. He seemed to be asking me more than Alexandrid, probably because Alex was glaring at him. "Sure, it'd be nice to have Jessica there. See if you could find Janice too." I said and smiled at him. He nodded and ran away, looking grateful. I looked toward Alex, him now looking happy. I laughed. "What?" he asked. "It's nothing. Just thinking of the fun we'll have. Let's go!" I had a sudden urge to go and yanked his arm. He led me down hallways and we finally ended up in the poolroom. I love swimming! ~~~
