Song for this chapter I think could be the Jamon song from Damon's perspective? Lemme know what you think or if you know of a better one... the picture is from... yeah, google.
I have a Glee fanfic now as well, "Suffer in silence". It's depressing and focuses around Sam (faints over his cuteness...) and if he had an abusive father. Read it! Or not. I don't mind, tbh... :D
Here's this chapter of TOGG! And remember, as I upload this, where I am, it's... 01:05 in the morning. So, If it makes no sense at parts, just remember that :L But it should make sense.... o.O OKay, here it is, enjoy! :)
“Oh, hey Stefan,” I greeted him, trying to act as natural as possible.
“Who was that?” He replied, staring behind me at where Ryan had just been and then looking straight at me.
“That? Oh, that was Ryan. Seems like a nice guy,” I shrugged, moving to dodge around him. Stefan stepped sideways to block my path.
“And he’s human?”
“Yes, he’s human. And I didn’t eat him or anything. Have a little faith in me, Stefan,” I tutted.
“I know you didn’t. But the fact that you agreed to meet him again is sort of the problem.”
“It’s rude to eavesdrop, Stefan. How long have you been listening?” I frowned.
“Since ‘fellow weirdo for a coffee at the grill’. But that’s not the point,” He replied.
“I think it is the point. It’s not nice to listen in on private conversations, but I suppose, because you’re a nice guy, I could let you off. I forgive you, conversation over, let’s go,” I rambled, once again going to step around him. He moved to block my path, again. “Will you stop doing that?” I snapped. Stefan frowned.
“Stop doing what?”
“Stop flipping sidestepping! You’re not a damn crab, Stefan,” I glared at him. Stefan smiled a little.
“Jess, with everything taken into account, you’re not doing too badly. But leaving yourself alone with a human isn’t a good idea. What if you killed him? What if you killed him in public?”
“You’re so pessimistic, Stefan,” I frowned.
“I just don’t want you to do anything rash, after… well, after… all that’s happened.”
“You mean after your brother killed my best friend and I went a little homicidal?” I asked, raising an eyebrow. I’d been practising the art of James Bond party tricks during my stay in the cell. There wasn’t really a lot to do, so after a few hours, I’d pretty much mastered it.
“Yeah, that,” Stefan nodded, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. “You know, you’re particularly talented in procrastinating.”
“What makes you say that?”
“It’s definitely been more than twenty minutes.” Twenty minutes of freedom wasn’t nearly enough, but it was more than I’d had all week and I’d wasted it arguing with Stefan.
“Well, the Gilberts are descended from a long line of procrastinators,” I shrugged, smirking. Then my smile faltered. “Of course, that means nothing, seeing as I’m not actually one. Why has that taken a backseat? I know the Katherine business is important, but… I want to know who my parents are and what have you.”
I know, Jess, and I don’t blame you. The second we get other things out of the way, we can start on that,” He assured me.
“Is that a promise?” I interrogated. One Salvatore had broken a promise only seven days ago. How was I to be sure that the other one wouldn’t do just that?
