Gets better in the middle. :)
A Book Set Free
She was so terribly frustrated she thought she could kill him when he finally appeared. What kind of a man left his girlfriend waiting for him every single time they had a date? Anna realized she was in love with him but she couldn't stop wondering if being in love was enough.
Was it only for his total lack of punctuality, she could have lived with it. But it wasn't just that. He was constantly making her feel like she was a silly little child and he was the Wisdom itself. He always told her that she was wrong and there was a different truth that he was so kind to show her. He always acted like she was lucky to get his attention and made her feel she should thank him for his appearances in her life. He was so absolutely absorbed with himself that he could never sense her desire of being held and comforted. And if he did note that's waht she needed, he only told her again that she was being silly.
The sex was great but if everything else wasn't so, should she stay with him and just hope he'd get better in time?
He'd sent her a message that he'd be a bit late fifteen minutes after the hour of their appointment. She set on a bench and opened the new book she'd bought- „Love quotes from your favorite songs". She drifted trough the pages absent-mindedly without reading anything in particular. Then her eyes fell on the lines:
„Before this river becomes an ocean, before you throw my heart back on the floor, oh, baby, I reconsider my foolish notion. Well, I need someone to hold me but I'll wait for something more! Yes, I gotta have faith!"
„Faith"- George Michael
Anna didn't really like George Michael and he certainly wasn't one of her favorite singers, but this quote really made her think. She actually deserved something more than that... guy was giving her. She deserved someone who could appreciate what she was giving to the man beside her. She deserved someone who made her feel equal and valued highly for her qualities, didn't she?
Anthony chose that moment to show up. He was wearing his usual expression of bore and reluctance to get involved in anything. He started saying „Baby, I've been working so you understand."- a line she'd heard countless times before. Anna just cut him in mid- sentence with the words: „You know what? Goodbye!" and walked away feeling amazingly happy with her decision to stand for herself.
„Bitch- Anthony exclaimed and went off with a thought that no woman could really understand and appreciate him.

Santra has just left the school- she had actually decided that she'd Skipp Chemistry to meet her boyfriend. She was seventeen and last night was her first time with a boy. She was feeling absolutely unconfident now. What if John wasn't satisfied with what they'd done? What if he was with her only for the sex? What if he was unhappy she'd run away like that last night?
She couldn't stop thinking of last night. It wasn't good at all. It was actually painful and strange and she had made him stop before he had finished because it was too much. What if John decided to leave her now?
But he did say he loved her. And he did stop when she asked him. From what Santra has heard from her friends, it wasn't a common thing to do. He had no objections at all and only asked her if she was all right when she'd emerged from the bathroom. She had turned coward then, said „Fine" and ran away without another word to him.
Now she was waiting for him. She knew he'd be here in another ten minutes or so. She sat on a bench and tried to come out of a plan for what she should tell him today. Maybe she should play a scene on him with an explanation of how bad she was feeling right now, so she could make him feel sorry for her. If John though he had hurt her, he wouldn't leave her right away, would he? Or she should pretend she was indifferent and just wait to see where the wind was blowing towards. Or maybe....
Oh, that was stupid. She had no chance to play indifferent- she was boiling from the inside with words she had to say and questions she had to ask. She saw a book lying on the bench next to her. She took it and opened it on a random page and there she read:
„Don't play games with the ones who love you 'cause I hear the voice who says: „I love you... I'll kill you!"
„I love you... I'll kill you"- Enigma
She had no idea what Enigma is... except from a mystery... and the German WWII encoding machine.... but the text sounded like something by Ahmed- the dead terrorist. But there was something that she needed to hear- she shouldn't play games with John as she loved him and he loved her back.
