I sigh in frustration, cursing my history teacher with an unpleasant death. I throw my books in my locker and grab my lunch money, slamming the door shut.
“Anger management Missy,” I whip my head to the right to see Jaidyn leaning against the locker beside mine, his arms crossed and a small smirk set on his face. “Tut, tut, tut.”
“Shut up!” I snap at him, grabbing his hand and pulling him down the corridor.
“Are you going to rape me?” He asks, faking worry. I turn my head to smirk at him.
“It’s not rape if you enjoy it.”
He pulls me to a stop and I raise my eyebrows. “What? I’m hungry.”
He shakes his head in amusement before bringing both his hands to my face and cupping my cheeks. He leans down and pushes his lips to mine. I smile against the kiss, opening my mouth for him. He pushes his tongue in and I don’t bother fighting the moan that rises in the back of my throat.
Jaidyn’s my best friend. He has been since we were five. We met in Kindergarten while serving time in the naughty corner. After he pulled my pigtails I pushed him to the floor and called him a dork. He decided I was worth being friends with.
“At it again, I see.”
I pull away from the kiss to glare at Alison. She always has something to say. “What’s your problem?”
“My problem?” She asks sarcastically, flipping her blonde hair behind her shoulder. “What’s your problem? I mean, who kisses their best friend?”
I roll my eyes. “Obviously me.”
She throws me a look of disgust before turning to look at Jaidyn. “It’s so obvious you’re only her friend because of her sexual favors.”
I know her words aren’t true, they can’t be. We were friends long before we started messing around, and he wasn’t the one who made the first move. But that doesn’t mean her words don’t hurt.
Jaidyn takes my hand in his. “Melissa knows I’m not friends with her for her body just as much as you know that, Alison.” He squeezes my hand, and I squeeze his back.
“She’s still a slut.” She snaps, throwing me a dirty look.
“Alison,” Jaidyn rolls his eyes, reminding me of myself. “Last period Jarrod was boasting about how fast you can suck. I wouldn’t go calling anyone a slut if I were you.”
She becomes speechless and I smirk at her. “Whatever,” She mutters before stalking off, shaking her ass for good effect.
I turn to Jaidyn, my smirk still in place. “She’s jealous; she totally wants you.”
He shrugs, not laughing at my joke.
“You alright?” I ask curiously.
“Missy,” He steps closer to me again, rubbing my cheek with his right hand as his eyes search mine. “If you don’t want me to kiss you, or touch you, or even look at you, you just have to tell me.”
I shake my head in disagreement to his words. “You know I want you to,” I smile at him. “Don’t listen to Alison.” I bring his head down so I’m able to meet his lips with mine again.
