The city is amazing, especially when you're trying to ditch school. Going to class is just plain stupid! It's dumb, and there isn't really a point to it. It's more than pointless. I've been doing pretty bad lately, not listening and all, you know the deal. But here's what bothers me-- I don't give a shit! I'm a junior. Blaze, a junior. Xavier just comes to the back of the building and he dropped out senior year. He's eighteen. In reality, Blaze is smart enough to be in the 12th grade, but he holds back. He doesn't want to try hard and I honestly don't blame the kid.

But neither does Tessa. She's sixteen, a year younger than me, and she's a sophomore. She lives the most wonderful life, and it irritates the shit out of me. Mommy and daddy are together, huge beautiful house, lots of money! But yet she acts like she has it hard, and she treats her parents like shit. My mom's a whore and brings guys home almost every single day, and sometimes I even walk in on them screwing each other. Now that is way worse than what Tess goes through. My dad left me when I was ten, and it's a long story. Let's just say I'm not too fond of men because of what he did. But I didn't have a daddy growing up. I just had a broke mom who doesn't care.

Sometimes I think that's the reason why I am the way I am. You know? Since I have no respect for myself, and for my body, but I really can't help it. I never have anyone to talk to family wise, only my friends. Spencer's an amazing kid, really loves to listen to me vent, but I can't cry on him. I can only cry on Blaze. He understands me. Yeah, he's very nice like that. He gets it. He feels my pain... Because he's gone through the worst out of all of us.

So it takes us a little bit over ten minutes to walk to the bus stop, and Xavier thankfully pays for everyone. It's as cheap, obviously. It's a fucking bus-- duh. Five more minutes until we get dropped off down town. I love living this close to the city. New York is amazing, so amazing. There's people everywhere you look, and there's just so many things to do!

Once we get off the bus it ends up taking us maybe ten more minutes of walking down the sidewalk until we finally get to my favorite store ever! It seriously has the most sickest clothing ever, black-- so much black! Chains, spiky jewelery, high tops, boots, short puffy skirts, and so much other shit as well. I always like to steal the lighters. But for today, we have too many.

They're really cool though, glow in the dark, and there's a lot of lighter fluid in them. And hey, I need as many as possible. Most of the time I just have them pull something down from the wall for me, I take it and slide it into my bra, and then they turn back around and I tell them 'Never mind.'

“Oh!” Juliana gasps out of fucking nowhere, hardly tapping my shoulder and pointing at the door in front of us, as I raise my eyebrows in confusion.

After a few seconds of her jumping up and down, I softly mutter, “What?”

“I've been here,” she proudly tells me, looking more happy than I've seen her, as she widely smiles and nearly runs inside the store. “I bought this outfit here.”

“This is my favorite place to steal from,” I say, following behind her as she grins at me.

The girl is so completely innocent that she quietly whispers, “SHH!”

“I mean shop at,” I softly correst myself. I can't help but let out a small laugh, Blaze and Spencer not coming in with us. I quickly turn to face them and they silently light up their cigarettes, as Tessa stands with them in silence. Clearly they don't want to come with us, and once I shoot my eyes onto Xavier is when he blankly stares at me.

“You guys don't want to come in with us?" Juliana asks them, as they shake their head. "Fine, you jerk offs! Mickey and I will have some fun by ourselves then,” Juliana carefully rushes out, mostly talking to Blaze because her gaze is set right on him, as I laugh. Then we walk inside the store and eventually make our way to the clothing department.
