A/N hello my fellow readers. I don't know why it takes so long for me to update. But please do not stop reading. We are almost done with this book and I want you guys in the end to get the escape you have been waiting for. Remember, you are Lizzy. Leave me a comment at the end of the chapter on how you think Lizzy (you) would escape. Maybe I will put it in the escape chapter.

LIZZY'S POV

I wake with a huge headache. I open my eyes and look at my surroundings. Where am I... Oh...I know where I am. I swallow the lump in my throat. How did he catch us. It was only about a week...I think. I don't even know what day it is. As matter of fact, when was the last time I actually knew the date. What month is it?

My dad is sitting at the dining room table. He smiles slightly when I sit up, but it disappears when he sees my face. I stand up. "What is wrong with you?" I say. I think he was expecting a longer speech because he pauses for a moment before he replies. "You know I can't let you go. Not now. Your mother just came here with a Bunch of cops and detectives looking for you guys." He say not making eye contact.

"I find it strange how lucky you are. But when you think about it. What will happen when your luck runs out. Did you expect this would last forever? Well it's not." I say taking a step closer towards him. "Listen-" he starts to say. "No, you listen. What did you think would happen that day when you kidnapped me? Did you think I would be all jolly gumdrops and say gee dad thanks for taking me away from my friends and family. But now I can spend all my time with you!" I say in a freakishly sweet voice.

I think he has had enough of my speech because he gets up and starts to head out the door. "Fine. Run away. You weren't going to win this fight any ways." I yell at him. He stops in his tracks. "You know what Lizzy? Maybe I'm not the one with the good luck. Maybe it is you with the bad luck. If you would have stayed here and not run off you wouldn't have to be here. Your mom would have found you, I would be in prison for life. And you could have already be in your cozy bed at home. But no. Your stuck here with me. Not my luck. Yours!" He yells much louder than I did.

I take a seat on the couch after he slams the door shut so loud it woke Ryan up. "Hey Lizzy. What was that about?" He asks. "Just go back to bed. You need rest." I say and grab a blanket from the Side of the couch and tuck him in. He looked like he was going to argue with the fact but he looked to tired to care.

I sat there in silence when I noticed the girl starring at me sitting on the couch across. Has she always been there. I guess as on as I woke up I was already mad at my father. "Hi, I'm Lizzy. What is your name?" I ask. "Ivy." She says without looking at me. She must be scared. I know I was scared. Well probably not as scared. I knew my father but she doesn't know him. She looks at me in the eye with her glossy green eyes " why am I here" she asks. I almost want to cry looking at her innocent little face. "Well that's my dad. His dad was killed awhile ago during the kidnapping." I said while pointing at Ryan. I was going to mention Stacy but I didn't want to go into detail.

"So I am assuming your dad wanted to kidnap you too." I say and look away from her tearing eyes. " I live with my dad." She says. "Oh...maybe your mother?" I say trying to be cautious. Maybe she didn't have a mother that was alive. "Well my mom gave me to my grandma four years ago. She wanted to take me back but my grandma wouldn't let her because she was an unreliable parent. Then my gramma found my dad which was living a wealthy life and she gave me to him weeks before she passed away." She says wiping her tears away. This just about does it. This is the cutest little girl ever. ". Ur my dad married a new girl. But she didn't stay long. Pew played dollies all the time. But then she left." She says. "So maybe that is who wanted you kidnapped." I say.

"How old are you?" I ask. " 10 and a half." She says proudly. Awwwww. No wonder her step mom wanted her all to herself... What? She is too adorable to leave behind. But then again her dad probably misses her to death.

I have a mission not only to get Ryan and I out of here but to get this cutie back to her dad!

I make my way to the kitchen and make three peanut butter and honey sandwiches.  I pour some filtered water and I grab an orange to slice up. I haven't eaten a decent meal in ages. I. am. hungry. I cut the sandwiches into triangles like ivy asked. She told me that is how her grandmother made them for her. I grab us a few TV trays to eat at the couch. Ryan is still asleep but I set up his table of food anyways.

I hope my dad doesn't return anytime soon. I can tell that Ivy is already afraid of him. I wonder what he did to scare her so much. Poor little girl. We eat in silence as we think.
