The Girl In Apartment 4-D

On the news,

The is blasted,

And they talk about the girl,

Found in a bathtub,

In Apartment 4-D,

The horror that was,

The murder,

Is something that,

Is hardly right for words,

But I can tell you exactly what happened,

Because I am that girl,

I now watch life that could have been,

From the Mirrors,

Located within the apartment building,

That became my final resting place,

Let’s start at the beginning,

My name is Jackie,

And I was just 15 when life,

Was taken away from me,

It started when I was in the yard,

Watching the cars go by,

I never heard the footsteps,

Crossing the grass,

The hand wrapped around my mouth,

The arm around my waist,

I tried to scream,

But nothing came out,

A black bag went over my head,

And I was tossed into a vehicle,

My arms were tied,

And cold pressed against the metal,

At the bottom,

I listened closely,

I didn’t understand

What was going on,

I overheard a man,

With a deep gruff voice,

Talking,

“We need to let them know that we have her.”

“And what if they don’t pay?”

“Then we kill her,

That simple.”

The gruff man responded,

I shuddered,

I didn’t know what it was they wanted,

But I knew that I didn’t want to die,

The vehicle began to bump,

And rock,

The hood on my head moved slowly,

But never enough to let me see,

The bumps continued,

Before finally coming to a stop,

I felt relief,

But I knew this was just false hope,

I wanted to hope,

That everything would be okay,
