Dawn's P.O.V.

I stared blankly out at the crowd while they clapped and I walked down the stairs. I froze at the bottom with Angel as I saw Peirce punch someone and then jump on him starting a fight. "Peirce" me and Angel screamed. I ran over and grabbed Peirce's arm and he calmed down and climbed off the guy. "Peirce what the hell" A familair voice yelled and the smell of blood tinged the air."You took something so valuable and didn't even love her it was just another girl to lay to you!" Peirce yelled and tried jumping on the guy again but Angel's mate held him back. "Peirce calm down" Angel said and then turned to the guy and her jaw dropped, "Axel?" She asked shocked. "Yeah surprised me too when I saw you" He grumbled trying to wipe the blood off his nose. "....axel" I whispered feeling upset and scared, "dawn" He whispered reaching for me and I backed away. "What did you do to her" He growled, "She's afraid of me now!" He growled again.

"You're the one who chose a slut over her, the girl who gave you her virginity" Peirce said glaring. "How did you" he asked and Peirce smirked. "Angel told me" He said and Angel's mate let him go. Peirce turned around and his expression softened when he saw me crying on Angel's shoulder. "You, Axel, need to go. You upset Dawn enough for tonight" Angel's mate said. "You're not the boss of me!" He yelled and two gaurds grabbed him and began dragging him away. "Dawn! Dawn!" He yelled as they dragged him over to his parents. Peirced took me from Angel's arms and hugged me and I froze again. His touch felt possessive and kind of wrong, I stayed frozen until Angel took me back and dragged me out of the ballroom for an early shower and bed time. I saw some of Axel's blood staining my dress from when Peirce had hugged me. I gagged at the smell and sight of it, Axel's blood always made me sick and now I knew why.

Shifter blood made vampires sick. I threw the dress away from me and I saw a dark head of hair walk into my room. I asumed it was Peirce until a warm pair of arms wrapped around my middle and I turned around and saw it was Axel. I started shaking, "axel" I whispered staring up into his usually happy blue eyes. "Dawn" He said leaning his forehead against mine just staring into my silver eyes. We stayed like that until we both realized I was only in panties and a bra. I turned and grabbed my black sweats and a purple tank top and then turned back to Axel who wrapped his arms around me again. "dawn please I....I have something to tell you" Axel said pleadingly. "Okay, tell me" I said quietly. "When we slept together....it was the beginning of a bond were's call mating and...if we made love one more time we would be mated forever" Axel said and I froze. I could be with Axel forever, but he hurt me so bad. I backed away from him shaking my head no. "Go away Axel, you hurt me too much this time" I whispered. He followed, "Please Dawn Please! Give me a second chance!" He yelled grasping my upperarms. "....Please" He whispered.

He looked so sad, his knees seemed to give away and he fell and wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his face in my tummy. "please dawn, just please" He whispered over and over again clutching to me for dear life.
