“The power of man has grown in every sphere, except over himself.”
Winston Churchill quotes

'Ma'am.' two cops walked towards the lady and Kyle, their guns out, pointing at the Library doors. 'We got a call saying they heard gun shots.' said one of them. The woman responded calmly.
'My son and I were just going for a walk.' she said. Kyle raised an eye brow. The police nodded and began walking towards the building cautiously.
'We need to go.' said the woman.
'Who were those men? asked Kyle.. He wasn't expecting an answer, but she answered anyway.
'They were part of the group called The Clan.' said the woman. 'They consist of only people with abilities that have one sole purpose.'
'What is it?' asked Kyle.
'Human Genocide.'
Kyle shook his head. This was Beginning to look like the movies. 'What did they want with me?'
'I don't know.' said the woman. 'I have my orders, and it’s to come save you.' She was mounting a Suzuki sport bike. Kyle got on behind her.
'Who sent you?' asked Kyle.
She was silent for half a minute. Then she spoke. 'Your brother.'

SIX YEARS AGO.
Kyle and Ian jammed their thumbs around the game controller furiously, their eyes glued to the T.V. Kyle's hair was shorter and seemed in better condition. His face was young and innocent. Ian was older, his black hair lighter than Kyle's. He also had green eyes.
'I win again!' yelled Kyle throwing his fist in the air.
'Way to go little bro!' laughed Ian giving him a high five.
'Want to see what I can do?' asked Kyle enthusiastically.
'Yeah!' said Ian.
Kyle put his hands a foot from each other. He closed his eyes, then slowly, blue sparks began to erupt around his hands.
'Whoa!' gasped Ian. 'You're just ten.'
'I know.' said Kyle. 'I found out I could do this last week!' The blue sparks disappeared and he put his hands down.
'Really neat bro.' said Ian tapping him on the head.
'I finally feel special. Like you, mom and dad.'
Ian looked at his little brother. 'Kyle it doesn't matter if you have this abilities. All that matters is that you're special to us.''

FOUR YEARS AGO.
Kyle heard voices in the kitchen. It was one in the morning. He walked towards the kitchen door, careful not to make any noise.
'My son will not be a part of it. He's just twelve.' Kyle could hear his father's voice.
'But you, mom and I are part of it.' said Ian.
'I want one normal son!'
Dad's voice was harsh.
'So I'm not normal?'
There was silence.
'Look Ian, do you want Kyle to actually join this?' It was Kyle's mom.
'What I mean is that we shouldn't treat Kyle like a baby. He is going to grow up and we won't be able to hide all this from him much longer.' said Ian.
'We have to. His powers are increasing rapidly and they could make a move at him.' said dad. he seemed to be trying to calm himself down.
'Then we'll train him!' said Ian.
'I'm sick of this!' Dad's voice had increased.
'Phil calm down.' said mom.
'My son will never join us.'
'He'll help us fight against them!' said Ian. He was getting angry too.
'Guys, we'll wake him up if we go on like this!' said mom.
'I'm going to bed.' There was the sound of the kitchen chair moving back. Kyle ran to his room.
