Now this here is a sub-genre that as far as we're aware was created right here on Wattpad.
BardPunk stories are really rather cool, when they're done well, and the premise is really quite simple.
Basically, it's Shakespeare Sci-Fi but with a much more awesome name.
Take one of the bard's plays, whichever you like - The Tempest, Romeo and Juilet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, MacBeth... - and put a Sci-Fi spin on it.
You wanna' tell Henry V with a Virtual Reality SF twist? Go for it... How about Hamlet with a little Generation Ship SF thrown into the mix? Sounds good to us! Or even Much Ado About Nothing combined with an Alien Invasion?
There really are no rules here and so long as you're SFing up your Shakespeare, it's all good!
