Hey guys! This is my new story, I really hope you like it. If you've read my other stories, you'll know this one is different. This one is completely from a males perspective, the entire thing... c: So, let me know if you think Andy's thoughts are accurate! And let me know what you think of the summary and first chapter so far! Also, I classified this as a 'thriller' because there is going to be a little bit of adventure/dramaish-type parts in it (and a lot of anger)... I might change that category later. Also, please vote!

Thank you,

-Nikki c:

Chapter 1

If anyone had whispered the word ‘Columbia’ to me before January, I would have thought of an abundance of different things.

Columbia is a river that’s 1,214 miles long.

It’s a cape in the Arctic Ocean.

It’s the capital of South Carolina.

Yet, a distinctive image of an eccentric girl wouldn’t have formed in my head like I’m only left with now.

I’m not sure if I wish I could go back or if I should be happy with where I am now.

Let me explain by starting from the beginning.

I shouldn’t have started a fight on my first day at yet another new school, but really, I couldn’t control myself. When I entered West Dodge High, I was hoping to get through my first day unnoticed. Yet, that wasn’t going to happen and it was all because of the pent up anger about how I had gotten kicked out of my past one… because of the fight I’d gotten into (and how I had undeniably lost, even though I had started it). It’s embarrassing to even think about, really. I’d gotten my ass beaten to a pulp and hardly even managed to get a punch past the guy, besides the first one, which didn’t really count because it was the unexpected one. I’d left that school without my pride, I came home to an angry family, and I was left with a bruised and aching body to remind me of what a failure I was.

            Ridiculous.

I should have figured something was going to happen, though. When you’re the new kid at a High School, people like to give you a hard time. It’s almost like it’s programmed somewhere in certain guys brains, like they have a radar that beeps when they see a new student, and they can’t help but start something. I don’t completely blame them. At my original school I would mess around with the new kids too, when I was a freshman. When you’ve got your group of friends and you see fresh meat, you feel the need to put that kid in their place.

But this one guy, well he just didn’t seem to ever stop. He searched me out after every class. It was only after third hour that I couldn’t seem to help it… I couldn’t help but retaliate.

“Do you need help finding your next class, New Guy?” Hm? Lemme see your schedule,” this guy said, and before I could stop him, he’d snatched my schedule from my hands, and then he started laughing like it was just the funniest thing in the entire world.

You see, I’m really bad at dealing with irritating things, and this guy was at the top of my charts. He had this loud and obnoxious personality about him that was just calling for the entire population’s attention. Not only that, but I noticed throughout the day he liked to give people nicknames, mine for instance was New Guy. He never said these nicknames in a friendly way, though, he sort of sneered most of them. His eyes were always wide like everything around him amused him, not in a good way, but in a cruel way. But it wasn’t just that, it was even what he wore. He sported a blue Hollister t-shirt bright as the summer sky. Jesus Christ, how does this guy even have friends?
