Here, because I don't wanna keep you waiting for too long, my dear cousin!
I know I'm actually 12 minutes late, and it's not that long, but I hope the content makes up for that ;)
During the rest of dinner Juliette tried not to attract too much attention and would only speak when she had to, for example when Mrs. Evans asked her how school was, otherwise she stayed as quiet as possible. From time to time she would look up from her plate and glance at Will sitting beside her, who kept talking to Jared. Sometimes her gaze would be met by his and sometimes she would be the one catching him looking at her. But either way, the color would always crawl up her cheeks, and they would both quickly look away.
So when they were all finished with the main course Juliette was just too willing to help carrying the dishes out into the kitchen. While her mother took the pie she had bought for dessert - baking it herself wouldn't have been a good idea - back to the dining room, Juliette slowly put the dirty dishes into the dishwasher.
"So, you've got a boyfriend, huh?" she suddenly heard a voice behind her.
Juliette turned around in surprise and saw Will standing in the doorway to the kitchen. "Ah... yeah," she said. "I have... I already told you before."
"Oh, I know," Will replied. And then, taking a few steps towards her: "But you might see how I was a bit surprised to hear that. I mean after all that happened friday night..."
He was now standing about three feet away from her. He had his hands tucked in the pockets of his jeans, giving him a casual but sexy look.
"Look... Will..." Juliette began, but paused, feeling the blush creep back onto her cheeks again as she said his name. God, he really was hot. "I was drunk. Really drunk. I should never have done that."
Juliette saw Will's face fall a bit as she said that, but he quickly recovered. "Well, I don't believe you."
"What?" Now it was Juliette who was caught off guard.
"I saw how you looked at me durning dinner," he explained smirking. "Or should I rather say stared."
"Oh, get over yourself, already. You're not that hot."
"But I am. You told me so yourself."
"I believe your exact word were sexy," Will replied, the smirk reappearing on his face.
"Not that I can remember," Juliette said with a hard face. Actually she could remember, but she surely wouldn't tell him that. "Like I said, I was too drunk."
Will took a step closer to her. "How about I refresh your memory a little," he asked with a really sexy, deep voice.
Juliette took a stepped back, stumbling against the counter, but Will took another step forward trapping her between the counter, against which she leant, and himself.
"What-" she began, but couldn't finish. Will's face was only inches from her own. She could feel his breath against her face. But it wasn't gross or anything. Will... He smelt kind of good...
He leaned forward a bit and put his hands on the counter on each side of her. Their bodies weren't touching but Juliette could almost feel the heat radiating of his skin. Her breath became accelerated from all the tension and she could feel the goosebumps crawling up her spine.
"I know you want me," Will whispered against her lips, in a seducing voice.
Juliette gasped. Wait a minute, she gasped? What the hell?? She felt her cheeks blush heavily. This guy was really good.
Just at that moment someone came into the kitchen, making Will and Juliette jump apart.
"Jules, mom wants to know what's taking so long," Jared asked. Luckily he didn't realize what had been going on just seconds before, otherwise his voice may have sounded a bit different...
"Ehm, nothing, I, ehm, I was just putting the dishes in the dishwasher," Juliette stuttered, her breath still slightly accelerated. "Be there in a sec."
"Okay," Jared said. He had almost turned around, away from Juliette but then decided otherwise. "You alright?" he asked looking back and forth between her and Will. "You're face is really red."
"Ah yeah, I'm fine" she replied, quickly turning away from her brother. "It's just really hot in here." She shot a quick glance at Will, who was standing a few feet away. He was doing his best, trying not to laugh.
"Well, okay. Just hurry up, dessert's ready." And with that Jared went back into the dining room.
