"Exactly why are you keeping me here?" I asked impatiently, looking at all of the guys.
Saber shrugged, looking at Alian, Jesse and Aeolos. Aeolos looked as if he didn't care and Alian looked at Jesse, putting him on the spotlight of my penetrating glare. Jesse sweat dropped and laughed nervously.

Lucas was still cheering in the background about me liking his food, paying absolutely no attention.

"Well... Uh, we want to stay in hiding for as long as we can...?" Jesse guessed quietly and I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah, because I'm going to tell everybody I know where five weird guys live in the middle of the forest. Which I have no idea where it is!" I sneered sarcastically, making Jesse cringe.

"Exactly!!!" Lucas finally came into the conversation and I looked at him.

"You know, that doesn't make any sense..." I mumbled, pinching the bridge of my nose with my fore finger and my thumb. Lucas smiled and nodded, cocking his head to the side cutely.

"So I absolutely have to stay here until you say so, right? What will stop me if I try to leave?" I asked, looking up at the guys, challenging them.

"Have you forgotten that there's five of us? And that forest goes on for miles. I doubt you'd make it out by yourself." Alian cocked his brow and crossed his arms, daring me to challenge him again. I looked up at him, hope of saving my brother disappearing almost completely. A small tear ran down my cheek.

"Why are you sad?" Lucas asked at the same time that Saber asked, "What's wrong?" softly.

I shook my head and turned away from them.

"She's probably worried about her brother..." Jesse said, making me look up.

"Maybe we can..." Saber started and the guys all got into a circle. I looked at them curiously and tried reading Saber's lips but they were moving much too fast. I huffed.

"Alright. We'll take you..." Jesse nodded.

"Where do you live?" Wow, Aeolos said more than one word.

"Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Freesia Drive..." I mumbled.

"It would take sixteen hours to get there." Jesse said.

"You wanna take the quick way?" Alian asked, smiling at Jesse mischievously. Jesse sighed and nodded.

"But we're all going." Jesse looked at Aeolos in general.

"Thank you..." I whispered and wondered why I thanked them. Maybe because I could get killed myself without protection. They all looked strong.

"Lets leave now." Saber stood up and smiled.

"Whose going to take Jess?" Lucas asked innocently and I raised my brow suspiciously.

"I will." Alian smiled at me.

I wasn't so sure that was such a great idea but I went with him anyway. Alian picked me up and one step later, I was in front of my house.

Holy shit!

I stared at Alian and he smiled down at me.

"How-" Alian dropped me and I fell on my butt. I stood up and glared at him.

"Asshole..." I mumbled and someone tapped me on the shoulder. I screeched and turned around quickly, scared and shocked. Lucas screamed also and his eyes widened as I settled down.

"Why did you scream?" I asked Lucas breathlessly.

"I don't know." Lucas smiled and got up, walking past me to the sidewalk in front of my house.

"It's small..." Jesse said, furrowing his brows in disapproval.

I nodded and walked to the door, placing my hand n the knob. I heard a bang and a cry. My eyes widened and I pulled the door open quickly. Running into the kitchen, I heard glass breaking and silence.

What I saw angered me. And I blamed myself for not coming sooner.

There he was. My little brother Nathan lying on the floor, barely breathing. My father took a drink of his whiskey. He looked at me and growled.

His hand slammed against me cheek and I landed painfully against the floor next to my brother.

"Where have you been you little bitch!?" He grabbed me by my hair and faced me towards him.

All of the guys came in and Lucas freaked. Alian grabbed my dad from the neck and threw him off of me. I sat up and crawled over to my brother, turning him over. I gasped.

"You came back for me. You... kept your promise." My little brother sounded delighted with his weak, quivery voice. Tears started flowing down my face.

His breaths were staggered and became lesser and lesser by the second.

"I love you, Jessie..." My brother started closing his eyes slowly.

"No! Don't fall asleep. Stay awake. I promise everything will get better. Just stay with me." I whispered and Lucas, Jesse, Saber and Aeolos's heads popped next to mine. Saber and Lucas gasped. Jesse felt Nathan's pulse and closed his eyes, shaking his head.
