I slammed the door shut, pushing the vision of the wolf to the back of my brain as I rushed into my mother. She lay unconscious on the leather couch with a sheet thrown over her naked body, Brian pulled the arrows out of her foot as Wendy appeared in the room with a sliver pan with clean water.

I rushed towards the couch but I was stop with Venroy holding me back. "Let me go," I growled furious but he shook his head bracing me back. "I think it's best if you stay where you are Sev," Bryan muttered as he took the cloth from Wendy.

"I think it's best if we take precautions because we have no clue if the person is still in the surrounding." Diana said from beside Fabian as the sound of the front door burst open and Harold, Uncle Heston and Aunt Holly storm in.

"Speak of the devil, and she'll appear in sheep clothing." Uncle Heston mumbled as he admire my mother bruises, Aunt Holly join him touching her forehead before picking up the towel to wipe her forehead but mom cough abruptly, fluttering her eyes open. I watch as Aunt Holly bend down and utter something in her ears and something flicker inside her eyes before they fall on us.

"Sevonnia," she uttered causing me to push Venroy away abruptly and engulf her into a hug. She smelled exactly the same, disspite the flaring heat that was bursting from her skin, I squeezed her tightly hoping this wasn't a dream. That she's real.

"Your Alive," I mumbled out still hugging her as she pull me away to stare into my eyes.

"Yes, I'm never leaving you, again" she uttered caressing my cheeks softly. Her soft skin was wet and sticky from debris and sweat but I didn't mind, she have dealt with me at my worse.

"Who did this to you?" I asked getting the question of my chest as she lay back abruptly, placing her hand on his forehead shutting her eyes. She shook her head, groaning before turning over and shivering.

"I think she need to rest," Aunt Holly spoke touching me and I stare up at her causing her to pull back her hand.

I got up as Clinton walked in shirtless with a pillow, and blanket. His gaze flick over at my mother before fixing his gaze on me. It held an odd expression that unreadable but it held pain in his pupils causing him to hand Lasonia the blanket and wheel out of the room more dramatic than he had entered.

I stare up at Venroy and he shook his like he was saying 'not the right time to ask questions.' I held onto my mother hand as lay back slowly inhaling.

"She'll be fine in the morning, you all can rest now." Aunt Holly murmured Harold join us. He push back strands of her dark almost black brunette hair and kiss her forhead before lifting up her legs to sit down.

"Sev," Diana called my name and I shook my head. "I want to stay here," I uttered holding onto her hand.

She stares at me reluctantly before turning to walk out the room with Jax and the others following suit. I got off my knee and sat in the couch next to her, playing in her hair. Who could possible hate her that much to do such thing to her?. Venroy stood starring at me, It's like he wanted to say something, but he didn't bother or maybe he was scared to say it with Uncle Heston and Aunt Holly in the room.

"I'm gonna go for a pillow and blanket." He mumbled pointed towards the stairs before walking out of the living room.

There was a tension shading the atmosphere as I stare down at my mother, asleep on the sofa. Her lips were cracks and dry. Her face was pale, almost turning white.

"So Sev," her grandmother asked deciding break the silence that was fixated between the four of us.

"How is the nightmares? Holly told me about  them." Her grandmother asked who was dress in grey dress that had a white apron it. It resembles the people in acients times but oddly it suits her. Her gray hair was pulled into bun at the lower back of head, that went well with her heart shape face.

"They are kinda of a blur ever since I moved here." I answered honestly.

"Wow," Uncle Heston blurted out. "You guys hardly communicate with the poor girl since birth, now here you both are trying to act like a civilized normal family." He chuckled.

"Shut up Heston." Aunt Holly stated glaring at him like she would slit his throat. "Whatever," he stated with a shrugged as Aunt Holly continues to rub my mom feets.

Venroy storm back into the room with two pillows and blankets. He hand them to Aunt Holly and Hand a set to me, which I took  and he join me on the couch.

"I'll be ok, you can go to bed." I uttered to him, "I'm not leaving your side." He touch my leg causing tingles to erupt through my body.

"I'll be fine. You can go," I said as he stare at me trying to read my mind or expression. "I'm not leaving you in the present of people we don't trust." He stated through my mind.

"I'll be fine." I growled in reply to him.

"You can't make me," He growled back at me, as my mother groan in pain as I shift my gaze to my unconscious mother.

"What does your mate think of you getting cosy with him," Uncle Heston blurted out glaring at Venroy.

"That's none of your business," Venroy stated getting slightly furious. "She got a mate and mates are forever, so vanish that hope in your fur about getting her." Uncle Heston causing Venroy to spurt up and I grab his hand swiftly.

He took a deep breathe and sat back down pulling me into his arm inhaling my scent not caring that he was just about to attack my uncle.

"How soothing," Heston smirk as Wendy appear in the room with mugs filled with Chamomile tea.

The tension was flaring making difficult breath as Venroy hand me a mug, this was going to be a long night.

I grasp for breath as I came to an abrupt stop in the center of nowhere. Darkness surround me with a massive heat. I spin searching but saw no one. The sound of paws hitting birth vibrated through the ground like a heard horses on a stampede in the dessert.
I dash into the darkness, where I suddenly find myself running through a sunset hit forest, with the blackwolf sprinting in stride with me. "Run!" The familiar husky voice boomed through my head as a log of fire landed into our path causing us to collide, with the black wolf on top of me. My skin burn with our contact surging something cold and hot inside me, but before I could say something someone attack the wolf unknowly causing me to be push off a hill, into darkness. I let out terrifying grapsing for air and something to hold onto but all surround was darkness. I landed in an awkward position, causing me to slowly raise up, looking up to see the moon and someone in a black cloak starring at me before disappearing.

"Help!" I screamed but darkness surround me and my cry for help as the sound of chains rattling filled my ears.
"Who's there a familiar?" asked as a bright daylight brightens the room, I covered my eyes from brightness.
"Welcome to hell!" Harry voiced snared plunging a sliver dagger into my gut.

I spurt up grasping for breathe with Venroy soothing me. The nightmares were back and this time they were devious and rapid. "Breathe," he whispered as I cuddle into his chest with him hugging me.

"It's feels all so real." I uttered leaning up to feel him, making sure there wasn't any stab wounds. He cupped my face starring at me, as I touch his hands on my face.

"No it's just a nightmare. I won't let anything happened to you. No matter how dangerous you are." He kissed my wet forehead and I nodded. "Ok, lets tell you a story to put your tired mind to rest." Your the only medicine that works on me these days." I cuddle in his chest with him pulling the blanket on us as I quickly glance at my mother asleep on the couch next to me.
