The rest of the day went by quickly. Mama made us have dinner with her before we left. Paige and Jordan had returned earlier, but they didn't want to come with us. However, Paige did help Chelsea and I get ready. I was all done up again except this time it was my own doing.

"Be safe!" Mama called from the porch as we drove out of the driveway in Hunter's mustang. Trey and Chelsea followed behind in his truck.

When we arrived, the party was already in full swing. There were people around the bonfire drinking beers while others danced around the field to the music blasting out of trucks. I grabbed Hunter's hand and pulled him towards the fire. He wrapped his arm around me as he sat next to me, peering into the flames.

"Excuse me, but who in the hell do you think you are being here? I don't recall inviting you!" a screechy voice screamed.

I looked up and scowled when I saw who it was; Shania McKinnley. Great, just what I need tonight.

"What are you doing here Aisling? I may have invited Hunter and Trey, but I never invited you. I don't want some fat bitch seen at one of my parties!" she shrieked.

"Well, excuse me," I mocked. "But Hunter invited me. I'm his date."

She burst out laughing. "That was a good one. I have to give you that. But Hunter would never date you."

"If he would never date me, why does he have his arm wrapped around me? Tell me that Shania!" I shot back.

"Hate to disappoint you, but she is my date," Hunter admitted.

"What? Why in the world would you go out with her?" she asked.

"Because I think she's beautiful and has a great personality. She's the total package."

"Ugh, whatever. If you want a fat chick, that's your choice. But I can assure you that you're not going to be satisfied with her body. If you ever need a woman to please you, you know where to find me," she winked.

"I will never find you, Shania."

I started laughing when she stomped off screaming frustrated.

"Nicely done, man. It's about time she gets knocked off of her high horse," somebody said.

We both looked in the direction of the voice and came face to face with a brown haired boy that had chocolate brown eyes. He looked oddly familiar, but different at the same time. That's when it clicked.

"Shawn?" I gasped.

"Hey baby girl," he smirked.

"Oh my god, it IS you!" I giggled, jumping up and embracing him. "You've changed so much!"

"That's what growing up does to you Ais," he chuckled.

"Is that who I think it is? Oh my god, it's Aisling Sharpe, the best and most beautiful girl in the world!" a voice shouted.

"SHANE!"

He threw himself into the hug and the three of us laughed. Then I remembered that Hunter was just standing there awkwardly. Pulling away, I went to his side.

"Guys, you know Hunter," I smiled as he placed a kiss on the side of my head.

"You better not hurt her, man," Shane warned.

"Trust me, I've already gotten the talk from her brothers, her brothers' girls and her father," he insisted. "Plus, I'd never hurt her."

"Yeah, yeah, sure you won't. Every guy says that. I know that cause...well I'm a guy!" Shawn said. "Listen, we'd love to hang around and talk more but we're the hosts and it's mandatory to mingle when you're the host. We'll see you later Aisling. Call us more."

"You got it!" I called after them, sitting back down in front of the fire.

"I'll be back. I'm going to get us some drinks," Hunter said, walking off.

I sat there looking at the flames in peace. Well, it was peaceful until some drunken asshole sat next to me.

"Hey baby, how you doin'?" he slurred.

I rolled my eyes and got up, trying to move away from him. I was kept in my place when he grabbed me by the shirt. He stood up and pulled me into his body by pulling my shirt. I desperately tried to push myself away.

"What do you say you and I go get to know one another somewhere more private?" he suggested.

"No thank you!" I said, pushing him more.

It was no use. He began dragging me along by my shirt. I contemplated slipping out of it but I didn't want to be exposed to the whole entire crowd. So I unwillingly let him drag me into the small barn out in the field. He shut the door after shoving me in and started approaching me with a smirk on his face. He took the last swig of his beer and tossed the can across the space. He was backing me into a corner, but I managed to crawl up on a bale of hay in order to avoid him.

"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME!" I screamed desperately.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" he shouted back, trying to grab me.

I flailed my legs out trying to kick him anywhere. I gasped when he grabbed my leg and pulled me down. I crashed onto my back on the floor. He loomed above me, smirking.

"HUNTER! PLEASE HELP ME! HELP! ANYBODY!" I shouted over and over.

"HOW MANY TIMES DO I NEED TO TELL YOU TO SHUT THE FUCK UP?" he yelled, slapping me across the face.

He clasped his hand over my mouth, silencing my screams. I began to cry as he tore at my clothing, trying to pull it off of me. The lust and insanity in his eyes was scaring me to death and I tried everything I could to shove him off and free his hand from my mouth. All I was doing was mumbling against his hand. Plus, my tears were making me choke as I screamed.

"Hello?" somebody at the door said. I recognized it as Hunter's voice.

"Don't say a word," the drunken guy on top of me growled quietly in my ear.

But I didn't listen. I put all of my energy into what I did next. I started shrieking against his hand, straining my voice.

"HMPH! HMPH!" was all it sounded like, but I knew the person could hear me. The drunk slapped me again, making me cry even more.

"Unlock this god damn door right now before I break it in!"  Trey's voice came.

"Dammit!" the guy cursed. "See what you did slut? SEE WHAT YOU DID?"

He let go of my mouth and I screamed out as he kicked me in the side. He ran over to the door and unlocked it. I watched from the ground as he tried to slip past Trey and Hunter. However, Hunter grabbed him and pushed him to the ground. He began punching the crap out of him.

"Don't worry Ais, I'm here," Trey said, kneeling down and blocking my view of Hunter and the drunk bastard that tried to rape me.

Tears came to my eyes as reality hit me and I began to sob. My ribs protested at the violent shaking of my body but I didn't care. I couldn't stop. I had almost been raped.

"Shit, don't cry. Hunter, he's already unconscious. Stop before you kill him and help me. Go get Chelsea and drive her home. I'm taking Aisling in my truck," I heard him order.

I snuggled into Trey's chest as I cried trying to hold onto myself.

"You need to relax baby sis," he murmured.

But I couldn't. I was in too much shock at the situation. The last thing I remembered was Trey putting me into his truck before I passed out from total exhaustion and shock.
