Cyber Bullying

By Kimberly Conrady

Open me up,

And sign on in.

Let the adventures of fun begin.

Pop on Facebook,

See what you find.

Look at the teardrops you're leaving behind.

Why do they do this,

Why are they so mean?

You think about this as you stare at my screen.

The pictures pop up,

One after another.

I think it is you they are trying to smother.

And I often wonder,

What is the meaning of this?

Don't they know that you're falling in the abyss?

No,

They do not care.

As you are falling, all they do is stare.

I see you give up,

Sauntering to the desk.

Cutting your wrists, making me feel grotesque.

You fall on the ground,

Dead at eighteen.

The way it happened isn't a mystery.

I see the blood,

That's splattered on my screen.

Your mother comes in and gives a loud scream.

The cyber bullies won,

And you took your life.

Did you ever realize, that I saw it all through my eyes?
