.:Satan's Home:.

I sat on the comfy couch reading one of my favorite Stephen King books, when Neo and Jessica came running in. I barely glanced over my book to them. This was just a typical routine with these two. Neo rushed to my side and sat on the floor beside me, like an obident dog would. I smiled and gently ruffled his hair. Jessica sat beside me, looking slightly annoyed.

"Is this all you do? Just lay back and read?" She asked.

"Sure, why not?"

"Kry! C'mon. Let's go to the mall or play cards or something." Jess asked, desperately.

"Sorry, but Prince Stick-in-his-ass, said for me to just sit back and do something less destuctive with my life." I growled at her.

"Since when did you start listening to him?" She snapped back.

I heard footsteps coming down the hall and sighed. Damion and Lucas came into the room. They glance over to Jessica and Neo, growling. I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to my interesting book. I really didn't feel like arguing with Damion right now.

My mind was focusing on too many other subjects to waste my breath on a pathetic excuse of a man like him anyway. I mean, aside from his good looks and astonishing body, he was a huge, total obsessed, self-centered, egomania, psycopathic, unreasonible, selfish, know-it-all, jackass who was hardly worth my time. He drove me insane all the time. I really hate him.

I heard muffled laughter and looked up. Damion's face was filled with rage. Lucas, Jessica and Neo were trying so hard to hold back from laughing, but failed miseriblly. I sighed and cocked an eyebrow at Damion.

"What?" I asked, carelessly.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" He bellowed.

"Oh, whatever do you mean, your Highness?" I spat on the last part.

"How dare you speak of me in such a ugly manner! You'd do best to learn you're place, Krystal!" he growled.

"I know my place, Damion. And for your F.Y.I., I wasn't speaking of you in any manner. If you would learn to stay out of my head, then you wouldn't have heard what I thought. It's not my fault you're a nosey rat. That's what you get." I lectured.

"You bitch!"

"Proud to be, babe."

Damion growled and stomped away. Lucas and Jessica busted into a fit of laughter as I went back to my book. This was beginning to get old. Satan walked into the room as Damion was storming out and cocked an eyebrow. I placed my book marker in my book, slowly sitting up. Neo perked up and looked at me. I shook my head, sighing. I walked past Satan towards my room, Neo quickly on my heel.

"What did you do this time?" He asked.

"Same as usual."

"Why are you still here? I thought you'd want to go home by now." Satan questioned eyeing me oddly.

"I made a promise to my parents, that I intend to keep. If he wants me gone, he'll have to kill me." I stated, as I walked away.

I walked up the stairs to my room. I past Damion's room and heard him arguing with himself. I rolled my eyes. Neo walked in behind me as I opened my door. Mine and Damion's room were connected by a large bathroom. My room had the whole Gothic look to it, like everything else in this house. I sighed as I plopped down on my bed. Neo sat next to me and began braiding my hair. I closed my eyes, listening to Damion's muffled voice.

I remembered how pissed he was when I showed up on his doorstep. He thought I was one of his psycho fans-hard to believe a guy like him actually had them- who was faking that she was engaged to him. He had rolled his eyes and slammed the door in my face.

That was when I began to hate him. He didn't have to be such a rude jackass. Luckily, Lucifer had heard the whole thing and let me in. Damion was so angry with his father about the whole thing.

I hadn't mind. I was such a bookworm that boys weren't my thing. I never intended on finding love. So when my parents told me on their deathbed that I was engaged to the devil's son, I didn't flip.

I had read enough books and stories about girls who were forced into marrying people they didn't know. They were all the same. Girls gets forced. Boy is mad. They get over it. Fall in love. Someone tries to tear them apart. Doesn't work. They get married. Have sex. And live happily ever after.

You're probably thinking that the same thing is going to happen here, right? Wrong. Well, so far we're up to stage three of the whole 'arranged marriage' deal. We got over it. But we still hate each other's guts. Damion hates me because I'm weak. I hate him because he's stupid.

We're quite the couple, don't ya think?
