Never Get Too Close

recap:

“As many hook-up’s as possible in… let’s say one hour, forty minutes? We meet here at the bar.” Olivia smirked. “I’m winning this one Lex…” I smirked back at her. “You never win. You stick with the same guy for too long. I mean three minutes is more than enough.” With that said I grabbed this cute guy next to me at the bar, whom had been staring at me since I got here.

After a while I pushed him away and turned back to Olivia and pointed to myself and held up one finger signaling “one point” before pointing at her and making a zero with my left hand.

Let the games begin.  

Chapter 10  

One hour, 38 minutes and 47 guys later I’m back at the bar, waiting for Olivia.

God, I love being hot.  

5 minutes and 3 drink offers later, she still hasn’t showed up, so I’m guessing she got stuck with some guy in the bathrooms. I decide to find the guys. Who knows maybe they could be interesting.   I find Milo, Victor and Jake sitting by a table with some girls. One of them is straddling Victor and I mean she’s pretty but not Victor pretty. He’s probably pretty drunk because he’s not seeing it. Milo and Jake are laughing their asses of on the other side of the table.  

“Vic! What are you doing? I came here to surprise you and this is what I get? And you are not even wearing your wedding ring!” Victor is just staring at me looking busted, and that only makes this even more fun. I rip a ring, I luckily was wearing, of my finger and throw it at him. It’s defiantly not a wedding ring, but they don’t have time to see that.   

The girl instantly gets of Victor’s lap and starts apologizing to me, she then gives Victor a bitch slap before leaving along with her friends. I can’t hold a straight face any more so I start laughing a long with Jake and Milo.  

Victor frowns at me. “Hey what you do that for?” I shake my head at him. “She was fat.” I tell him honestly. He just shrugs before heading off to the bar but he doesn’t even get half way before a girl comes up to him. This one’s pretty though, thank god.  

I turn back to Milo and Jake. “Hey have you seen Olivia or my brother for that matter?” They stare at me blankly. Oh that question answers for itself I guess. I roll my eyes. “So what happened?” I ask them. Jake shakes his head but tells me. “Alex saw Olivia making out with someone and got pissed, even though he was having someone else on his lap at the time. So he shoved her of and went after Olivia. I think you can guess the rest.” I made a disgusted face.  

Suddenly Olivia and Alex appear at our table. Alex shoved me further in and took a seat, Olivia on his lap. As soon as she saw me her eyes went wide. “Oh my god I’m so sorry I forgot! See it on the good side. At least you won.” I laugh at her. “Won what?” Alex exclaims suddenly. “The hunting game. How many did you get?” Olivia asks waving Alex of. “47” I shrug. “Not my best night, but it’s a decent number.” She nods thoughtfully.  

“Lexie. Please do not tell me you’re talking about 47 hook up’s.” Alex pleads and the guys look stunned. I give him an evil smile. “That’s what you get for dissin’ my BFF!” Olivia suddenly gets mad. “Oh my god! I totally forgot about that.” I get up from the table and walk towards the dance floor.  

“Hey where are you going?” Milo calls out. I sigh. “They’re having another fight. Save yourselves before they pull you into it as well.” They hurry up from the table and follow me.  

“Hey Lex, want to dance?” Milo whispers in my ear, placing his hands on my hips. What this boy does to me, I do not know, but it works. I don’t trust my voice to speak so I just nod my head. He takes my hand and steers me towards the middle of the dance floor.  

He pulls me close and places my arms around his neck, since I’m not moving. I can’t move. All I want to do is kiss him, but I know I shouldn’t. In just a matter of days he’s gotten closer to me than any guy before. He could break me so easily, and I don’t think I would be able to get back up this time.
