Jason Barker and Rhianna Sidgeworth are a pair of ordinary fourteen year olds, each mirroring the other with the usual symptoms of growing up. Confused feelings, acne, anxiety, growing pains, intergalactic space travel.... What was that? You want to hear more about the intergalactic space travel? Not the acne? Ok, if you insist. It all begins when they happen upon a device called a Transflit, a small machine capable of transporting its user across vast distances in the blink of an eye. In the case of Rhianna and Jason, it whisks them to a planet in another galaxy. Gone are any concerns regarding the double maths homework for that week, instead replaced by the pressing matter of finding their way home. They just so happen to have to overcome mythical creatures, deranged dictators and treacherous terrain to get there... and you thought your Monday was bad. As Rhianna and Jason fight for survival in this alien world, the mysteries of their plight begin to unveil, and the answers lead closer to home than they could have ever imagined.
